Honestly this is so good

Honestly this is so good

No

I really hate the main character's design.

What exactly

He looks like a twat. Also he was boring compared to the rest of the cast.

He has a ponytail

That part where dad leaves is really sad

Cool universe
Generic kid movie syndrome with lame plot and characters

Untapped potential

>>reddit

what's with retards and thinking they've found hidden gems that critics overlooked? The movie isn't well-remembered because it wasn't that great.

How are characters lame

>caring about critics

How would Sup Forums define the setting and overall aesthetic look of Treasure Planet?

yeah all that matters is what you like!

Avengers is my favorite movie btw xD

Avengers did well with the critics you moron.

steampunk.

it's absolutely beautiful, reminds me of lucasarts games when they used to do adventure point and click. This and the Atlantis disney movie make a comfy netflix double feature.

Treasure Planet is one of my favorite movies. Idk how anyone can dislike such a simply adventurous movie, but I did grow up with it so maybe that's why. I think the characters are all extremely solid, the blend of traditional and 3D animation is cool, the space setting is exciting, the story compelling, etc. Maybe I just want to be a space pirate

I liked the game

>Atlantis

Broooother!

I wish Disney did more movies like those two still. Unfortunately, I don't think they'd have the same charm if they were animated in 3D though.

>Maybe I just want to be a space pirate
>You will never be a space pirate, traveling from planet to planet
>You will never have exciting adventures and meet various different species with their own ways of life
>No steampunk cities either

Yep, game is fantastic. Its sad that its almost impossible to okay multiplayer

I didn't grow up with it, I missed it as a kid and watched it a few years ago, it's a great movie. Not 90s Disney tier, which I think critics at the time had grown used to and is why it wasn't well received. The relationship between Hawkins and Silver is handled really well.

Pic related was the better Disney Treasure Island adaptation.

How about you move to Africa?

Better break out those tubes, user.

>taking the bait

Holy shit, mate. I don't even need to spell it out.

>About 4 minutes in, realise its just Treasure Island in Space

What the fuck were you expecting? It's literally called Treasure Planet

Daddy issues: the movie.

But seriously, best Disney movie ever.

realy mke u thkin

This one, The Emperor's New Groove and The Hunchback of Notre Dame are still my favorite Disney movies.

>You will never have exciting adventures and meet various different species with their own ways of life
You can do this IRL.

Also, if you really want to see extremely weird stuff that nobody has seen before, explore the bottom of the ocean. There's more there than space exploration would ever give you.

This never reached classic levels to me that B&B and lion king did but it's alright I guess.
