Logan

Did people cry in your theater?

strawpoll.me/12521876

It was the last showing last Wednesday.

Everyone looked kind of gloomy, but one girl was crying like if one of her kids — or someone just as close to her — had died.

No, the lights came on 10 minutes before the end and totally ruined the mood of the final scene

>clapping in movies
>crying in movies
What is wrong with americans

no but people cracked up at the truck scene

No. I was pissed because there was no funny post credits scene with deadpool. I expected more quips.

No, everyone was laughing and talking, and checking their phones throughout the movie.

I was about to tell everyone to shut up, but they looked intimidating, so I only thought about it, and reached catharsis by imagining myself as Logan, tearing up their organs with my SUPER AWESOME METAL CLAWS!! * slashes you *

My friend cried. I was a good friend and offered him a kleenex and gave him shit for it

lol what a faggit

I sure did.

Hey that's my FRIEND asshole! Nobody calls him a faggit but ME.

I wanted to but I didn't want to look like a pussy. Laura is an orphan now ;_;

Kek, happened in my theater once, when I was messing with lights controls from a totally different screen room, didn't know they were connected.

Tickets should be refunded after a fuckup like that.

Crying at a comic book movie, no less. Embarrassing.

I WANT TO ADOPT HER

Me too, me too. I wish the mods would allow Dafne threads again.

Cry me a river guestfag, I can do whatever I want.

>"So this is what it feels like."
I cried, damnit.

>until i get fired like the incompetent wagecuck i am

But they do get refunded

Nobody cried. Mood was certainly subdued though.

What truck scene

>Logan as he's saying "at least there's water" as Laura holds his arm

Almost bawled while I kept it in.

>so this is what it feels like
>daddy?

Tear one.

>before she leaves she turns the cross into an X

Tear two.

I think Xavier's scene was sadder but Logan's was sad as well.

As for the others, everyone walked out quiet not talking and looking sad.
Like me I think everyone was holding it in.

I was good until Laura flipped the cross to make an X.

That's because you can't appreciate kino

I meant I cried at that part

Nevermind then. You are connoisseur of fine cinema. Sorry for insulting you.

Probably the horses part.

No you idiots, they mean when Logan is bashing the pickup with the shovel.

An actually funny scene. It walks you through the steps of losing someone until the (if you're anything like Jackman's character) part of grieving where you just vent, where it gives you that wide shot and gives you an impersonal perspective of all that impotent anger.

In a sense it's funny because it's sort of poking fun at the viewers who can relate.

there were literally only 6 people including me it's probably because i went to the theater at 10 in the morning,
i didn't notice anyone crying they were just sad
i wanted to cry though but the fucking theater was in a mall so i didn't want to walk around crying.

Everyone was Sad after the film myself included no one cried though as far as i could tell, is crying in the cinema just an American thing?

Nobody cried, people laughed a lot. Everybody was there for another dosage of capeshit, so they behaved as such.

that annoyed me.
>hey look! its funny watching this broken man take his anger and depression out on the truck
fucking people

No, I live in Finland

Nah in America you get ridiculed for crying so everyone tries to man up and fight back the tears.
But Logan was actually sad and ended with a legit reason to want to actually shed some tears.
Not outright cry but tears of sadness.
I shed a couple tears but didn't cry.

I nearly cried but I went with my black friends and didn't want to get roasted

I think it was played for laughs, honestly. At least, the very start of it. When they let the camera just linger on him as he threw another few futile swings at the broken wing mirror, people seemed to realise how he was feeling.

I think it starts being funny to break the tension, then brings you back into the serious moment as it shows Logan taking his anger out because he was sad.
I don't think the entire moment was to make you laugh, just the beginning when they show him.

>tfw no Logan-Laura Father-Daughter boat times epilogue

>kid is like 4 feet tall
>can drive a car

i get a chuckle but in my theatre people were losing there shit, i felt that it was a pretty dark scene and i dont feel like people should be busting up at it but maybe thats how people deal with serious stuff idk

Just like my Japanese animes!

She sits on her knees

She used her foot claws

literally putting the pedal to the metal

>"it wasn't me"
Have to admit almost got me

>summary of the movie

...

It was supposed to be funny. And jesus christ it's a wolverine movie, grow up.

>Clapping in movies

The energy in a theater can make the experience way better. The Starwars prequels were terrible but everyone having a great time and clapping at least made them enjoyable for me.

wow grade A film criticism here you guys sure know some kino when you see it

Don't reply to me if you're gonna insult my intelligence.

you're ugly

Well I am getting fat and balding.
Aging is a bitch.

How does this make it any less retarded?

Finasteride m80

Did you always know you were destined for the neckbeard life?

Two girls next to me were crying.
The movie was meh.

Ever since I was a kid I wanted to become an alcoholic.
I would draw pictures of myself getting fat with a beard holding alcohol.
Yes, I had this planned and I'm living the dream.

>Don't reply to me if you're gonna insult my intelligence.

Heh Logan fans are exactly as I expected they'd be.
