>On Thursday, Penguin Press announced that it had acquired their latest book, which will explore Mr. Trump’s striking and unexpected rise to the presidency. The book has also been purchased for a mini-series on HBO, which turned “Game Change” into an original movie, with Julianne Moore as Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska and Ed Harris as Senator John McCain. Like “Game Change,” the new mini-series by HBO Films will be directed and executive produced by Jay Roach, and executive produced by Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman of Playtone Productions.
it'll be incredibly hard to cast trump, the success of the show will depend whether they get his character right beyond the usual "lol drumpf is a retard" liberal trope... i can see someone like anthony hopkins pulling it off, you'd need a very skilled actor like him to make an campy character like trump believable on the tv screen...
Joseph Cruz
>unexpected During the primaries sure. Anyone who actually walked outside during the elections could see hillary would lose
Tyler Rodriguez
>usual "lol drumpf is a retard" liberal trope >trope
Brandon Richardson
Jon Voigt as Trump Meryl Streep as Hillary Clinton Jaime Foxx as Obama Will Ferrell as Jeb! John Leguisiamo as Rubio Michael Pena as Cruz Jonah Hill as Chris Christie Kirk Douglas as Bernie Kevin Spacey as Vladimir Putin Zach Galifanakis as Sup Forums Victoria Justice as a Russian prostitute who urinates on Trump
This could be better than Band of Brothers
Colton Clark
They need someone good at improv, Trump's constant disjointed babbling is one of his trademarks and I don't think it could be convincingly written.
Honestly Alex Baldwin has pretty much nailed it, and could make it work seriously with more time to prepare
Jackson Edwards
It's not a good Trump impression unless both Trump supporters and Trump detractors both think it captures Trump. Alec Baldwin is solely catering to the anti-Trumpers, which means if he gets involved this project can be written off immediately.
Luis Butler
Dennis Hopper would have been a perfect Trump but he's dead.
Brandon Russell
Jeff Bridges or Michael McKean as Trump
Landon Allen
alex baldwins impersonation is fucking trash, if you want an actual good impersonation that makes fun of trump try this one youtube.com/watch?v=YfXdmHseiFA
Dominic Fisher
Peter O'Toole as Trump Carrie Fisher as Hillary
Wyatt Gutierrez
>dozens of "who will play him/her in the inevitable biopic" threads since election >actually happens
AYY LMAO
Alexander Morales
Baldwin's impression is just ok desu
he's really good at the faces, that part he's exaggerated just enough to make it a great impression
on the other hand his voice is all wrong and he exaggerates the rambling too much and too fast
Darell Hammond's was way better.
Brody Gutierrez
also Baldwin is too much Alec Baldwin even while he's Trump. Hammond is a better choice because he'd be the character first, then the actor. AB is the other way around even in full makeup (partially because he's also a fat guy with a giant head)
William Thompson
finally a 70 year old actress can have a job again
What if they hire Clinton and Trump to play themselves?
Oliver Lopez
All the money in the world and still can't afford a decent hair cut.
Joseph Powell
Reminds me more of Doctor Evil.
Gavin Nguyen
Who'll play PEPE tho?
Zachary Edwards
haha good one
Adam Thompson
>durr My name is Donald Trumpf . Im a big fat stupid head >squints eyes, purses lips >liberals piss themselves with laughter
Dominic Brown
All the media """experts""" couldn't predict shit and now they immediately ignore their mistake and pretend they have any insight at all. LOL
Grayson Jackson
Kevin Spacey
Eli Jackson
If they don't portray Trump as an idiot from Dumb and Dumber and actually portray him as he is, a shrewd business man and genius level manipulator they will get shut down by their jewish overlords.
The entire Globalist narrative depends on normies thinking Trump is a moron.
Colton Brown
>narrative
Leo Evans
>Reality has a liberal bias... kid
Wyatt Sullivan
just sam hyde my shit up barber
Jaxon Sanchez
>Jon Voigt as Trump i could definitely see this
Isaiah Scott
non American here and even I can tell Baldwins impression isn't very good
Grayson White
>Will Ferrell as Jeb!
holy fuck I would pay so much money to see this
Christopher Phillips
>tfw he will never get to play trump
Gavin Reed
Of course you know they're only doing this so they can dramatize the fake news of Trump colluding with the Russians to defeat poor poor wonderful Hillary.
BOOM.
Libtard desperation knows no bounds.
Asher Perez
>being willfully ignorant
Dylan Walker
Brendan Gleeson for Trump
Kevin Peterson
Owen Wilson.
Jackson Roberts
this
Cooper Jackson
That could actually work.
They're doing this too fast. They honestly need two-three years minimum for things to settle down, for people to write memoirs of the campaign, to collect more reliable less hysterical interviews.
What they're going to get is probably some insanely emotional sources on both sides and it will come of really poorly.
Hell, they'll probably portray Trumps campaign as a solid united front of evil manipulation instead of a shambolic tainwreck that was haemorrhaging staff for the first four months.
The best way, I think, would be to start focused on Jeb and Hillary as the heirs' apparent, then focus on Bernie and Trump(the Upstarts) as their campaigns grow. Probably need to have a journalist character who focuses on online stuff to show how important Twitter, Reddit and Ebaumsworld were in pushing Trump over the line. Budget wise those Trump rallies will cost a fortune to film so they'll probably cut them(despite being central to his victory) but they'll have budget aplenty to film every racist "attack" which happened at them.
Also cast Tom Cruise as Autism-bro the guy who counted the 3451 people at a Hillary rally that the media said had 18,000 people at.
Andrew Wilson
Say they have a budget and can't get the people they need.
Brendan Gleesan & Laura Linney.
Caleb Martin
james spader
Xavier Scott
I agree they should wait like they did 4 years for the Mccain Palin movie, and even that movie was thinly focused just on them and hardly at all on the other side. From all accounts it was pretty accurate, so i have hope this one will show Trump seriously as a formidable person, rather than a parody
Landon Watson
he looks like Bannon
Jack Sanchez
Not if we can CGI him
Jose Cox
I like the way you think user.
Nathaniel Jones
Idris Elba
Gavin Turner
>40 minute video >not watching that whole thing >jump to random spot in the middle >Trump has hand in the air in Nazi salute shouting WHITE POWER WHITE POWER
Why can't liberals into parody?
William Hall
>Hell, they'll probably portray Trumps campaign as a solid united front of evil manipulation instead of a shambolic tainwreck that was haemorrhaging staff for the first four months
that's retarded. it was a very lean nimble campaign from the start, spending massively less than all others in the primary, doing far more rallies, jumping to the top of the polls from quickly and never falling below any other competitor beyond brief margins of errors. He used several key switches for managers as needed (e.g manifort for locking up the RNC details he was so familiar with) all to the tune of the media screaming "TRUMP'S CAMPAIGN IS LITERALLY FALLING APART, IS THIS THE REAL END OF TRUMP????" maybe 1 a week from several major news outlets.
Samuel Taylor
This
Trumps campaign was genius, like him or not, and it will forever change the way presidential politics are done
Christian Long
Did you see him in Turbulence? His American accent is not good.
Cooper Taylor
Jack and Jill style for both roles.
Luke Gray
>you dont think idris elba can play trump? are you some kinda racist?
Cameron Robinson
>fusion
No thanks.
Logan Jones
It's going to be Bryan Cranston, isn't it?
Cameron Lewis
Who will play Kek?
Brandon Rogers
Literally the only choice. I've been saying this for years. All he has to do is pack on 20 pounds and he's golden
Jose Adams
Jesus can't they wait at-least 4 years like with what they did with Game Change. It takes a few years for stuff to leak out about the campaign eventually.
Julian Ross
Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump costume as Gary Johnson.
Jace Flores
He's too young though
Jose Wilson
>the Jews paid HBO to make a show about how Trump worked with Russia to win the election while Hillary dindu nuffin she a strong women to further brainwash the autistic liberals towards assasinating him
Benjamin Clark
Robert Redford as Drumpf Andy Serkis as a CGI Pepe
Jaxson Thompson
Hillary Clinton: Angela Lansbury Donald Trump: Alec Baldwin Jeb Bush: John O'Reilly Vlad Putin: Leo DiCaprio Bernie Sanders: Larry David Chris Christie: Zach Galifanakis or Dan Schneider Melania Trump: Mila Kunis Bill Clinton: Warren Beatty
Jayden Lopez
Will it be cathartic for Hill Shills, or is it going to trigger them all over again?
Awful casting. Just fucking terrible across the board.
Anthony Lee
>its another generic comedy filled with hollywood actors
Logan Anderson
kino
Lucas Scott
He's a manlet
William Ross
>Hillary (2016)
>Director: Oliver Stone >Meryl Streep as Hillary Clinton
>a shot of young Hillary age 7 >Mommy, is it possible to become a woman president? >Hush child, a woman should mind her household and raising children not getting involved in politics >as these words resonated in her young mind Hillary questioned herself "why can't a woman be President?" >start career as a hopeful idealist >work, fight, claw every step of the way, believing in what she was fighting for >as her power and influence grows, idealism gives way to cold, calculating strategy >she rises higher, sacrificing friends and allies as they become inconvenient along the way. >it is close to the end now, only one step remains, everything she's done, everything she's become, has been leading to this one final moment. >The crowds are gathered, their faces smiling to receive her. >She can almost feel the crown being placed atop her anointed head >the results start coming in >.... >"Ma'am we just lost Florida." >"BULL-FUCKING SHIT! what the fuck do I pay you for Comey?" >"How's Pennsylvania?" >"Ma'am, we're lagging behind 10,000 votes" >"That's fine, we still have Philadelphia votes coming in" >"Ma'am, they're already in there" >She is dizzy, turning from one aid to another, but no one will meet her gaze. >her vision blurs as tears fill her eyes. The faces of the aids begin to look like those of old friends and allies, companions she betrayed on her path to greatness >They all meet her gaze now. >"EVERYONE GET OUT!" >"Ma'am..we still have.." >"OUT! FUCKING OUT!" >Alone, defeated, humiliated, haunted. After coming so close to everything she wanted. >She sobs, this is not how its supposed to end. Trump is supposed to be an easy opponent. She waited 8 years, it was supposed to be her time. >She receives a text from her rival as she reads "I won. Sad!" >She throws her phone at the screen slo motion just as it showed the Blue Wall collapsing
James Barnes
Martin Sheen as Donald Trump >mfw he already played a president
Give em lifts in his shoes or just cgi him a bit taller and youve got the only the actor who could pull off trump
Benjamin Cruz
I wonder if they are going to cover the fact that HIllary and Podesta were having sex orgies with children or stick to conspiracy theory shit like Trump's Russia links
Ethan Thomas
>Kevin Spacey as Vladimir Putin
I didn't know I wanted this.
Dominic Myers
>Kevin Spacey >not Daniel Craig
Colton Wood
HAHA DUUUUUUUUUUUDE ONE WILL BE EVIL AND THE OTHER THE GOOD AND SAVIOR OF THE HUMAN RACE LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO xdddDXDXDXDXDXDDXDXXD
Henry Carter
Will they cover Trump's involvement in the Miss Teen USA pedo and molestation charges? Or the 13 year old that Trump raped. Or the Florida teen modelling agency pedo ring that Trump and his best friend were both involved in? Trump is an actual child rapist.
Jonathan Turner
>I won. Sad!
Luis Turner
>produced by Tom Hanks so its gonna be grade A bullshit Hillary shilling
you think HBO wouldve learned with "the circus" how not to spin politics.
Ian Gomez
>DUDE TRUMP BAD, HILLARY GOOD LMAO XD
Matthew Myers
>relive the shameful chapter between the worst two presidential candidates in American history on purpose yeah fuck that shit
Andrew Rodriguez
He's been on the job for less than 2 months for fuck's sake. This isn't even recent, it's still happening.
Landon Harris
All it is missing is her crawling on the floor, defeated and then noticing Bill, who at this point completely lost his mind as they forgot to give him his medication (played by David Morse with a really bad wig) jerking off on the couch of the "presidential suite" they are staying at.
Angel James
If there's not an entire episode dealing with meme magic then I'm not going to bother.
Logan Wright
gotta do it Boyhood-style. Film the young Trump scenes now, then wait a decade to film the latter days as he's elected and probably impeached eventually
Oliver Morales
Dude makeup does wonders
Nolan Cox
republican voting has been essentially flat for 60 years. They practically didn't even need a campaign to get 58 million votes, all they needed to do was announce "red" campaign
