good leaf
I have a fairly large collection of Appalachian music, medieval music, and Christian chanting on youtube if anyone's interested
youtube.com
Good song, I have several versions in my collection but not that one, thanks. I can play it on my tin whistle.
>Christians, heathen, Jews, contending,
>claim it as a legacy.
>May God judge with grace unending
>through his blessed Trinity.
>Strife is heard on every hand:
>ours the only just demand,
>He will have us rule the land.
I know you're doing european stuff now but this is a pretty good american one.
Reminder that if you don't listen to classical music, you're not white.
youtube.com
That's beautiful. Among other instruments I play banjo and dulcimer, I live near but not in Appalachia so it's hard finding songs to play.
Classical music is relaxing for me but not moving. I don't know why but I tend toward food/music from cultures that I have some connection to, classical music just seems kind of posh and disconnected to me. Still infinitely better than most modern music.
My family is mostly ethnically Scottish/English and have always placed emphasis on the Scottish side, but lately I haven't felt very proud of that with how cucked Scotland has apparently become.

Nothing wrong with complaining and being angry but that only alienates people, we should focus on the positive aspects of white culture instead of the negatives of others. Sorry I'm drunk
I visited Gettysburg on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, this year, as well as Antietam, Manassas, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Spotsylvania, and Harper's Ferry.
Was a beautiful and humbling experience.
Irish/Scottish here, ginger as all fuck.
Bump, even if I'm not "white".
...
White culture? Fuck off. The only reason you cunts have a culture is because of India and Egypt, and their cultural offshoots.
I camped in Gettysburg and visited Antietam, it was pretty cool, Gettysburg is an amazing movie.
youtube.com
my beard is ginger
You're white.
Don't listen to the divide and conquer shills. They're the same ones posting interracial porn all over Sup Forums
No way in hell that any officer at the time would have claimed to be fighting to free the slaves. Fuck off yankee
Gee i wonder why those whites would do that? It wasn't because they massacred a several towns was it? The best part is the rape though. Why would you need to rape an Indian woman when she would gladly marry you to avoid being scalped along with her children by an opposing tribe while getting to live in a house. Doesn't fit the narrative though
Haha yeah, I said it jokingly. I'm white to the point of near transparency, so how could I not be white?
I've always wanted to visit Ireland and Scottland, see the land of my ancestors. Any recommendations on places to see?
youtube.com
I enjoyed Antietam the most personally. It was mind blowing to see how small the actual battlefield is/was. A handful of woods and fields outside a sleepy Maryland village that can be traversed in an hour or so bore witness to the bloodiest day in American history. It was so calm and serene it was almost impossible for me to envision it.
Keep laughing it up Achmad you fucking muzzie piece of shit.
PA barn tour is p cool
You're obviously white. Don't listen to the shills.
Literally come to Scotland and climb Ben Nevis and a few of the Munros
I liked it better too, Gettysburg was just too big and complex to really comprehend very easily.
the south won't rise again :^)
This.

Gods and Generals was pretty alright as well, though the acting sucked
loo pooer
I overheard a nigger on the Amtrak ride to Chicongo talking about how whites never made any music of their own, they stole it all from blacks. I just my headphones back on and continued to listen to Mozart.
youtube.com
I know when Americans say they're Irish, Scottish etc people who are actually from those countries think it's stupid, to what extent do people from other countries think that? My grandpa and dad were in pipe bands and I'm learning now, we celebrate Burns Night, I like to cook Scottish/German food and try to get my mom to, and pretty much try to incorporate Scottish and German traditions into holidays and so on.
Yeah it's okay, I still like Gettysburg a lot more. Have you seen Sergeant York?
I have not, just looked it up and it seems interesting. I'll need to make time and check it out.
Don't listen to generic overrated crap like a lot of Mozart and Bach. Not that there's anything wrong with the music, but it doesn't represent all classical music, and is definitely on the boring side of a lot of what's out there. Classical music isn't just shit with orchestras and some posh European conductor/composer. What most people think of as classical is really the upper-class and sophisticated music of Europe from the 16th century to as far as the early 20th century. It includes Baroque (following renaissance), actual classical, romantic (pretty much 1850 - 1900), and modern (before and just after ww2).
If you find the good shit and properly try to listen to it (concentrate fully and on nothing else, imagine the story it is depicting), you'll find it's the deepest and most rewarding (with exceptions) music there is. If you haven't been playing at least 1 musical instrument seriously for 2+ years, and if you are not an aficionado who has listened to enormous amounts of it, you probably won't get it or fully appreciate what's going on. It took me learning flute and piano as a child, several years of guitar and various phases of musical interest before I went down this path. The average layman would be hard pressed to get to my (or above) level of musical knowledge and practice on their own, so they listen to very basic and repetitive shit, mostly popular music or what used to be pop.
Get educated, listen to Stravinsky's rite of spring, listen to debussy's clair de lune, listen to Mahler's 5th symphony, listen to wagner's tannhauser overture, listen to Tchaikovsky's works. Then you'll begin to see what I'm getting at.
Actually this youtube.com
I don't know if this is really considered classical but I really like his stuff. youtube.com
It's like that everywhere, it'll come to pass
eventually when the new era dawns. Then we can be proud once more.
I'm more of a 40's-50's Pax Americana kind of guy
heh I like that
