Can I buy these parts at a gun store? I would like to inspect the pieces myself before buying anything (even if I don't really know what I'm doing). Also, is pre-built really that bad? If I had say 1500 to chuck at an AR could I get a good one?

Bud, you could build yourself a fine ar for just 600$. You can also buy a good ar for 600$.
Check out some gun shops in your area

There is literally no reason to "build" your first AR 15. You can get a fully assembled one for $500 or less these days.

Bumping for interest. This is a highly important matter right now, as we're about to see a full-scale AWB once Clinton steals her way to the election, or perhaps when BLM ruins it for us and Obama chimps out.

Pic is mine. Slidefire stock, 1000 rounds of brass, can't go wrong.

fuck u nigger

What are your thoughts on building your own lower using a lower 80%? I've seen a few vids but haven't tried it yet.

The AR 15, which stands for Adolf's Revenge 15 million, and which was designed for a second holocaust of 15 million jews, fires the exact same bullets that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945. There's absolutely no reason for a civilian to own one of these and it's time for America to adopt common sense gun laws

a "built" AR will always be cheaper than its assembled equivalent.

i bought my AR essentially fully assembled, the upper and various parts were shipped to my home while the completely built lower received was transferred to my FFL. all i had to do was open up a bunch of packages, slide the bolt and charging handle into the upper then attach the lower with 2 pins. for less than $700 after shipping and fees i got a complete rifle with a Nickel Boron BCG, magpul furniture with ACS-L stock, mid length gas system and 12in Daniel Defense quad rail that sells for $300 on its own.

>jap shitposting

Back to protecting America's interests abroad, GI.

Army Reserve nigger had an SKS and the cops had ARs. He got a much higher k:d ratio so I'd rather go with an SKS than your plastic meme rifle. thnx

Recommendations on AR10? I'm partial to the 7.62×51mm 308 round. I've already got a FAL and a few other weapons that use that round, that and I have about 30k rounds stocked up. Was thinking of maybe at AR10 pistol.

>that pic

what is going on here? do people customize real weaponry like it's a movie prop? That's fucking sweet

what's the battery for?

what's a flash hider?

Hi /k/,
I didnt know you could build an ar yourself and save money.
how much should I expect to spend to build one?

What kind of ammo options are there in a build your own AR?

What length barrel do I want if I'm buying to "be prepared" in case of race war?

I live in a suburban area.

whoa user, its for self defense.. remember that.. (till the time comes)
