Then how do you explain cowboys and the wild west?
If Americans have no culture
That's archaic as fuck, modern American culture is mindless consumerism and having 2 abortions and a gastric bypass before turning 16.
That's not entirely American though. It's just something Southerners are mostly into. Especially Texans. Go anywhere outside of the deep south and the only "cowboys" you'll see are inbred hicks
Also this.
Cowboys are mexican.
Where would all that come from I wonder
midwesterners who moved west. not from your """""""""""""""""""""banditos""""""""""""""""""""
And this and this. It's some weird Northern Mexico//South U.S.A. thing
Americans invaded a part of Mexico. That part kept their Mexican culture.
I guess if you insist, hillbillies and biblethumpers could also be considered a facet of American culture, since they aren't found anywhere else in the world.
Cowboy culture is Spanish though. Mexican culture would be cutting the heart out of a living person so the gods bring you rain.
I can assure you that Spain has no cowboys.
Well it sure didn't originate with Amerindians because there weren't any cattle in the New World before Europeans brought them there.
It is a shared thing
No, the techniques for ranching in those areas developed from a mix of Spanish and Amerindian traditions, cowboy hats derive from sombreros which is an adaptation of Iberian hats done with Amerindian materials/techniques, ponchos are Amerindian but they were made with European materials/techniques, etc. There certainly were refinements made by Americans, there was a bit of cultural back and forth across the border, but the underlying base is Mexican

Cattle ranching was an Iberian thing; they introduced it all over Latin America although it mostly took off in places like Argentina which were suited to raising cattle.
Except Europeans brought cattle to Mexico in the 16th century, those ranching techniques appropiate for northern Mexico and the American southwest developed during centuries, Americans came into the picture in the 19th century.
Does pictured look like a vaquero or a cowboy to you? The forms specific to North America are Mexican, like using lassos instead of bolas
Noice, he summoned the Aztec LARPer Mexican out of the woodwork.
That's the only genuine culture they have and it's narrow as fuck
>hillbillies and biblethumpers could also be considered a facet of American culture, since they aren't found anywhere else in the world
This is a troll, right? All countries have toothless hicks and hyper religionfags.
>never going to heard cattle across the plains and forests unspoiled by the modern world while marveling at the rocky mountains
Cowboy life wasn't romantic like the movies anyway; it was usually backbreaking, mindless labor alleviated with bad liquor.
WE WUZ AZTECS
Sadly enough this is the truth to the whole thing. most cowboys died dragged by their own horses rather than in epic gunfights
Not cowboys as John Wayne etc... But of course there are vaqueros (notice the similarity to buckeroos) due to the all the culture revolving around bulls. In the end it's just managing cattle.
There were cattle in the English colonies as well although mostly for dairy and pulling plows rather than meat. Most dairy cattle commonly raised today originated from northwestern European breeds such as the Holstein.
uhm....not really? European dentistry is of very high quality, usually cheap too (except in Bongland, but you can see the results of that). Also Europe is really secular, hence the conflict between muslims and us.
Not sure about Westerners, but Ireland for example used to be biblethumper land, but recently they voted for gay marriage as a nation so... Oh and there were all those scandals with priests molesting kids, so people are very sceptical these days about the church.
As for Eastern Euros, communists pretty much eradicated organized religion, well, at least people's beliefs in that garbage. Thank god. No pun intended.
that's just spanish culture appropriated by ameriturds, look up vaquero
ameriturds are identityless subhumans who descend from indentured servants/slaves who were even cheaper than african slaves
ameriturds come from the lowest, most worthless subhumans the british isles had to offer, mainly scottish and irish slaves, who were worth less than africans to the aristrocracy
It's shared, there were a fuckload of Southerners and Germans who were cowboys. There were a considerable number of freedmen too
ie wide open spaces with a lot of grassland. You couldn't raise cattle in Guatemala or some jungle shithole like that.
>It's shared, there were a fuckload of Southerners
In a lot of cases, Southerners who had their homes and livelihoods ruined in the Civil War moved west to start a new life.
True, but we are talking very specific practices such as cattle drives and a lifestyle which evolved to be suited to a specific environment, vaqueros in Spain did not have to deal with moving through the kind of distances and terrain present in the Old West and neither did ranchers in the east coast. It's a very different thing to run a dairy farm than it is to move hundreds of heads of cattle from Sonora or Chihuahua down south to the bajío or later on to places north like St Louis Missouri and to do that while keeping the animals fed and watered. Also most of the specific artifacts and their styles can be traced to Mexico.
This is kind of like claiming culture in Texas or California was not influenced by Mexicans.
>communists eradicated belief
Not really. Communists just scrapped the institution. In Poland there was belief and it survived. Around here it wasn't and now we are the most atheistic country in Europe.

Yep, it's him alright. Right on time.
You're just being deliberately insulting rather than making an argument, vaquero culture in Spain is very different in Spain than it is in the US/Mexico.

Yeah, I had already admitted as much
>US/Mexico.
as if that's the only places were that existed, it existed in the part of DR where i'm from too which had a cattle ranching economy
>In Poland there was belief and it survived
[citation needed]
How often do young Polish people go to church? You bet your ass it's pretty much never. It's probably only old farts and babushkas who visit them.
>we are the most atheistic country in Europe.
Yeah, it's pretty sweet. We look up to you brothers.
And while I'm sure there were some similarities with the continent there were probably nuances that made it different there, there were also cattle ranchers in south and central Mexico, including the Caribean, but their circumstances were very different. I could be wrong tho, maybe you have giant semi-arid plateaus in the Dominican republic.
