What's even weirder about that is how just a few episodes after the "shadow realm windows" they had the duel with Yugi and Joey strapped to an anchor and the loser of the duel would be drowned in the sea, and Tea tied down under a massive bomb that would explode if the duel was stopped. And they didn't censor any of that, they straight up went through the process of explaining that they would get murdered. What's the point?
