This board still has sports bar culture. It just happens on cycles of 10 to 30 minutes and restart once you get a new IP.
I would love for mods to step up and give a proper explanation why can't they just let us be.

Memes aside, they're just sticking to the rules. However, the division of Sup Forums between mods and anons is one of the largest on Sup Forums, there needs to be a poll or sticky to discuss and reach an agreement between both sides. My proposal would be that a more lenient moderation stance should be taken during periods of low activity (e.g. postseason). Sup Forums has an non-stop active fanbase for most major sports, you can expect them to just "disappear" or remain strictly on-topic when their league or sport is off the air, that's just not how humans operate. We're not robots (at least, literally).
