Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

...

They're called books. Intelligent people don't see movies and often don't own a tv either.

You know I'm right. Most of this board is below average intelligence. Most of this board also hates Inception (which is pure cerebratulus kino)

any Adam Sandler one

True. Intelligent people only read books and listen to music, and they're very selective about both.

Most difficult movie I've ever seen. I had to consult several guides all over the internet and still haven't comprehend it completely.

My girlfriend understand it better than me, and she's the best at trying to explain the many intricacies, but damn, it has too many layers!

>intelligent people
>watching movies
Good one.

Really intelligent people don't watch movies, and when they do its only because they are exposed to it second-hand through others and they just humor it outwardly while judging the people around them internally

The same goes for video games and anything televised, except for maybe a few documentaries.

Pretentious validation seeking makes you look insecure, buddy.

>not being smart and rich enough to read the script and then film it yourself

The Man from Earth

That being said if you just meant intelligent movies then good luck

Primer. Made for around $7,000 and somehow ended up being the most mind blowing and confusing films of all time. I've never met anyone who understood it completely on the first viewing. It's not that it's poorly conveyed, it's that the themes are so complicated in nature that it's almost impossible to comprehend.

Just because you don't understand what I just typed doesn't mean it is mindblowing.

Thinking everything you don't understand is pure gibberish is a pretty closed-minded way of thinking

Does it have complicated themes? I mean, the plot is definitely complicated but I'm not sure it's saying anything special.

Honestly I think it's a fun movie though
