it's one of the best films of recent years without a doubt, beatifully edited and Bruhl is fucking great

Yes it's more about the characters than the sport

I like the drama of the film but the racing scenes are poorly shot. Bunch of close ups of tires bouncing on asphalt and jump cuts. They really failed to capture it.

I don't watch movies while I drive, mate

for those of you who don't know about f1, lauda goes on to win 2 more titles and hunt does fuck all for the rest of his career
