NFL - Christmas cheer edition

In the spirit of Christmas, let's all say something genuinely nice about teams we hate the other 364 days of the year

>Cowboys
Zeke is legit fun to watch and Cole Beasly is a fine route runner.

>Rams
Fucking Gurley churns out fantasy wins like it's his god given mission. Could be MVP tier for years to come. Goff also looking to be legit. NFC west could be real fun next couple years

>Patriots
As hard as it can be to admit, Belichick and Brady are among the best of all time. I'll never admit this normally but fuck you guys just keep getting it done and what more can you ask for?

>Giants
Eli has kept Brady from having SEVEN (7) (Sept) (siete) rings. This may be the greatest gift anyone has given the NFL in it's entire history because can you imagine NE fans forever if that had happened? We owe you, you glorious retard.

Merry Christmas everyone. We fight a lot, but you're all ok.

>I guess bonus points if you can guess what team each other root for

Almost 12 hours later and no holiday cheer? What a bummer

>Patriots

Brady is good enough to have three asterisk-free rings.

>Falcons
Julio is a top 5 WR and they were better than the Pats last year.

>Ravens
Flacco is definitely not bad, maybe even HOF tier. Tucker is god tier despite looking like the BuzzFeed try guys.

>Dolphins
sorry phins there's nothing good about your team

>being this much of a cuck

the packers would have beat the patriots in the '08 bowl as well, and favre would have two rings. that would have been the ideal timeline.

>Rams
You have been mediocre for over a decade and still managed to beat us Seahawks just about every time. Now you are beating everyone else also congratulations on taking over the NFC.

>Patriots
I will forever be butt hurt beyond believe about the interception on the goal line to take away our second super bowl in a row. But Tom Brady is a Top 3 QB all time Gronk will probably end up the best TE of all time and Bill Belichick is a Top 10 coach all time.

>49ers
Seahawks - Niners rivalry was among the best in football up until a few years ago I miss those days. I am sorry things have gotten so bad so quickly. At least now it appears we can revel in mediocrity together.

>despite looking like the BuzzFeed try guys.
Justin Tucker is a handsome man and you should find a way to kill yourself

>being this much of an insecure faggot
Seriously what is the point of coming to a thread like this and calling OP a cuck it makes no fucking sense you don't deserve to have access to the internet I hope you slip on black ice while driving and break your neck but too bad you'll never leave the house to have this happen you neckbeareded tendie eatin mommy's nipple suckin weeb fuckin bitch. Merry Christmas :)

Can someone please check if Gus is back in Jacksonville?

>Cowboys
Zeke is a legit beast, and Jason Witten has been all class his whole career
>Giants
Eli is hard to hate, and they stopped 19-0, so big props to that
>Redskins
I was a big Sean Taylor and Santana Moss fan as a teenager, so there's that

Alright I was at the Titans game yesterday so I'll do a Rams/AFC South one.

>Rams
I will say yesterday's game was really good, regardless it's nice to see that getting rid of Jeff Fisher is going well for you guys. See you in the owl
>Jags
Eh I can't really complain, the few Jags fans that were fans longer than this year deserve it.
>Texans
Deshaun Watson is a beast
>Colts
Your team is good when Pagnao isn't around

>Patriots
Brady and Belichick are a great combo and both absolutely deserve their future HoF places

>Steelers
You guys have great administration and a terrific coaching staff. I can't help but admire how consistently good you are.

>Panthers
I don't actually have anything against you guys as a team, the Panthers are actually a perfectly good team to follow. My only problem is $cam.

>Lions
Stafford is a very good QB

>Packers
You've only had two losing seasons since 1991, and that's a very respectable feat.

Based Carson

>At least now it appears we can revel in mediocrity together.

You fucking wish. We have Jimmy G.

Not even a christfag but I can't help but root for them since they're the underdogs now and progressive culture has become cancer

>We have a generic QB on a hot streak with a bad team
Oh wow can't wait for him to fall back to a 58% completion percentage and 1.5:1 TD int ratio

Guys, let's not fight. This isn't the thread for that.

Jimmy G is a very intelligent and precise passer that just took a team that was 1-10 before him and posted the highest score / passer rating against the best defense in the league.

You cannot deny that.

The Hawks have a lot of problems now but they ALSO have a great QB in Wilson.

Goff, Wilson and Garappolo are going to make the NFC west great for at least the next ~6 years.

Let's all just be grateful for that and give good wishes to our Arizona Bros in their search for a quality young QB to replace the aging Palmer

yea that dude is a major loser he can't even stifle his hate for 1 thread

>flacco is hall of fame tier

LOL

>Cowboys
I like all the white players

>Patriots
I like Amendola

>Patriots

Bill Belichick is almost indisputably the best HC of all tim. I also admire their ability to see talent in other team's castoffs.

>Steelers

Antonio Brown is the most entertaining player in the league. He could make a QB throwing an entire game underhand look good.

>Packers

Uhhhh...Lambeau seems nice?

>a non-racist owner
>a qb not made of glass

>tfw this meme holiday is not celebrated here and I don't have to be suddenly be all forgiving and friendly and shit
fuck the Ratbirds
fuck the Cheatiots
fuck the Panturds
fuck the Cowgirls
fuck the Stoolers
your teams can still eat shit and die in a fire
this is the real thread though

JUST WIN, BABY

>Vikings
Case Keenum is maybe the best story of the season

>Cowboys
Thanks for dropping Romo so he could be a based colour commentator. Also Zeke is legit.

>Panthers
Cam Newton trash talking Clay Matthews was hilarious

>Packers
Aaron Rodgers is a future HOF

shit thread

Bengals

Vikings

There is nothing wrong with using an OU for game hunting.

>racist owner
kys
>qb not made of glass
if the GM and HC could manage to build an Oline, QBs would stop suffering career ending injury 4 times a year

>there's something on Sup Forums i don't like

actual general
actual general
actual general
actual general
actual general
actual general

>US10s

>Panthers
Y’all have an amazing, play making defense

>Patriots
Bill and Brady are a GOAT combo, and the level of consistency the organization has achieved is only rivaled by only a few organizations in all sports.

>Ravens
Alex Collins is a beast and one of the most entertaining RBs to watch in the League. He also seems like a really chill dude to boot.

>Falcons
Julio Jones is indisputably GOAT
Lions
shit post

Randy moss was better

Does anybody know what this was about? Did he want to fight Dez?

He wants to be a Boi

They're not even good cowboy boots for the money. Years ago, Ben Rothlisberger got his O-line custom suits. They went in to a high-end tailor and got expensive suits. You can get a pair of $200 boots off the shelf at Cavender's or Boot Barn and they'll be just as good as, if not better, than what Wentz bought.

Prove that they’re cheap boots.

They're so "expensive" because he got them online from some "custom" boot maker where you can pick the colors/add logos and shit

Everything about them are impractical and gaudy, but they're a christmas gift I guess

The leather on them looks pretty cheap as does the stiching yeah but its not like they were ever meant to be used out in the field or to go hunting in them (bright red boots?)

He explained it later in an interview. He wants to be a cowboy once his time with the xhawks is over

>thinks you need camo boots

You’re dumb

Why did the media make such a big deal about the Cowboys not drafting Randy Moss. 20 teams passed on him, but all I ever heard was that the Cowboys should have drafted him. Did they do did this with any other team and Randy Moss?

His contract is up with Seattle next year so hes either trying to put the pressure on the Seattle F/O to resign him with some big cash or is simply looking to join a team he was a fan of growing up

Earl is from Orange, Texas, went to UoT, etc, wouldn't be a big shock to anyone if he went to finish out his NFL career in Texas since hes openly talked about retired several times now

Reminder that you can use an OverUnder for game hunting and many people do.

>As hard as it can be to admit, Belichick and Brady are among the best of all time.
>being this new to football

Oh, I guess he would be a better safety then what the Cowboys have now. The Cowboys should have at least kept either Wilcox or Church. That would have improved the secondary at least a little bit.

Earl is a better player than any player you have on defense in Dallas, picking him up would be huge

Wait, what? Like the group makes a pot on if they kill over/under whatever they're hunting and the closes person wins the money?

ENJOY THEM

Eh, I don’t know. With how the season ended, I don’t think the defense is the Cowboys issue. The defense, particularly the secondary, started off like trash, but started to look acceptable. I think some combination of actual coaching and trying out some rookies really helped.

I think they’d benefit more from rebuilding their receivers than anything else at this point, and getting some real offense coaches.

Jerry Jones and deion Sanders met with him a few times iirc, and he's also from Texas I think. That's all, I don't know. The Bengals passed on him twice

>Vikings
Yep, you got me

Shotguns you retard. Holy shit this board needs to be purged

The offense didn't look anything like it did last year. It's almost like they forgot they had Beasley at slot receiver most of the year or any other WR that wasn't Dez. The offensive line also looked way worse then last year.

>jerry jones passed on a black guy

If we knew then what we know now....

Dude, not everyone hunts. Just because you know about hunting doesn't mean everyone should.

no gays allowed

T. Soyboy

I think Beasley was just always being double manned after defensive coordinators figured out he was the only WR that Dak has actual chemistry with. He has nothing with Dez aside from the occassional big play and T-Will is just nothingness the receiver.

And yeah agreed on the Oline. It went down the drain hard.

>he doesn't strictly hunt only using his bare hands and a bow
Soyboys, please leave

>he doesn't strictly hunt only by chasing mammoths until they die of exhaustion
Soyboys, please kill your yourself

>obsession w/ soy

Personally I prefer almond milk.

>he doesn't strictly hunt only using his recreational pocket nukes

>he doesn't strictly hunt and kill with only his mouth
Soyboys, please

>Christmas
>week 16 ends
>dont have to hear about peoples' fantasy football teams for another 7 months

is there any better feeling lads

Fantasyfags are the fucking worst.

Not many. Fantasy football is fucking AIDS.

I don't hunt, I just prefer to suck dicks all fall

>tfw never getting a third TX team

Most of San Antonio is Cowboys fans. I don’t think anyone would have abandon the Cowboys for a relocated Raiders team.

What cities would get a team if the NFL expanded? Fertile,Iowa?

Mexico City and some mapleshit city would be my guess.

Is this the real thread?

>vikings and packers
Lions? Bears?

It has more posts

Yes

> Patriots
Bill Belichek should go down as the best coach of all time, and it's really not even close. What he has done with literal who's and an array of different formations is impressive.

> Steelers
Rothlesberger is pretty fucking based and played behind some absolutely shit Olines. Tough bastard.

>EAGLES 2018 OPPONENTS

>HOME

Dallas Cowboys (8-7)
Washington Redskins (7-8)
New York Giants (2-13)
Carolina Panthers (11-4)
Atlanta Falcons (9-6)
Houston Texans (4-10)
Indianapolis Colts (3-12)
Minnesota Vikings (12-3)

>AWAY

Dallas Cowboys (8-7)
Washington Redskins (7-8)
New York Giants (2-13)
New Orleans Saints (11-4)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-11)
Jacksonville Jaguars (10-5)
Tennessee Titans (8-7)
Los Angeles Rams (11-4)

If the colts want a winning coach they should grab shurmur during the off season, if you guys watch any Vikings game you could tell pat schemes the offense so that keenum can throw the ball away quickly, which will be perfect for Luck because his O line is pretty bad, and we all know Andrew luck has a better arm than keenum which would make deep balls deadly too

Is anything real?

> being so insecure that you can't appreciate another teams ability

Holy fuck get over yourself.

>thinking the Vikes are gonna allow him to leave

They’re gonna make him a deal he can’t refuse.

I hope so

>tfw coal in my stocking

If Rick wants to keep his job, he’s gonna guarantee Shurmur’s

Don’t forget an L as well.

>$(ers
Garoppolo could actually make me a fan of this team.

>Panthers
Cam seems to be maturing as a human!

this is a classic game that the steelers will fuck up, so don't worry. at the very least you'll be getting a close game

it's funny to hear a woman talk about maturity

Coal can be turned into diamonds

Need heat and a lot of force, which the Texans don’t have, loser

who are the good guys in the playoffs?

Do you guys feel bad for people who have to work on christmas? even football players?

Vikes

Nnnnnope

Who /didn't get what they wanted/ here?

also, why no Santa hats on every post this year? gookmoot must not be christian
