No, women can take care of themselfs here and get well paying jobs. They aren´t forced to marry in order to survive. What will happen though is probably reduced divorce rates because without gibsmedats, it will be very hard to support a child as a single parent (or you are lucky and one of the parents is rich...).

The influx of labor will indeed lower wages and increase corporate profits, but they will not lower prices, as the demand for products will most likely increase. In fact, it's more likely the prices will increase because people have a bit more disposable income from working than on living on welfare.
