I dedicate this thread to the glory and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All people are welcome here to discuss faith and the gospel among themselves, and the role the teachings of Jesus Christ can play to help shift western culture back towards sustainable values.
This is not a thread to debate atheists, or argue the heresy/legitimacy of various Christian churches.
This IS a place to answer questions from open and curious anons who see Christianity as a well worn path out of degeneracy. God loves you (Yes, you.) and wishes success and exaltation on all of his children.
Sup Forums is a powerful place with strong cultural influence, but also a place full of Judgement. I urge Sup Forums users who consider themselves Christian to consider Jesus teachings on judging others before shitposting. Through Christian morals and values, everything Sup Forums stands for and wishes for the world can be achieved. By coming together and making these threads regularly we can shift the negativity of this place and truly turn it into the "path of light"

You may say mean things about him, but he loves and cherishes you as a Child of God.

How do I break my porn/masturbation addiction? It's crippling me.
Charles Wood
This is something I struggle with as well. Know you are not alone. Pray to God and ask that he grant you the strength to do what you know is best for yourself. You have a genuine desire to quit, I am confident you will succeed. Remember all the times you masturbated, and how you felt afterwards. Channel that energy into creativity or good works.
Jeremiah Williams
>Let us turn the other cheek
Asher Smith
Bless you user. I am having a similar struggle. I cannot help but to believe in the benevolent power of Kek and the Kabbalic digits through which he is manifest. I simply cannot deny the power of the Dark Deity, yet my faith in Christ as my savior is too important to my sanity. Pls halp Jesus

Brother, pray to our Heavenly Father in the name of Christ for grace and strength. It is not good for men to be alone, but if you have not met one with whom you can righteously fulfill your desire, then meditate on God's heavenly and mysterious will for you and reach out to brothers in the church for counsel and for accountability. Believe me, all Christian men with and internet connection face your temptation and it is not right for them all to suffer it alone out of "embarrassment."

If I want to become a Christian, what branch is the least altered through time? I don't want Christianity lite (Tm)
I'd prefer as close as possible to REAL Christianity, how it was truly intended, not this modern day "it's ok to be gay and transgender" version.
Evan Ward
PRAY YHE ROSARY
Jaxon Howard
>I'd prefer as close as possible to REAL Christianity You know what the real redpill is, right?
Jaxson Campbell
Most importantly, read and study the Bible for yourself.
The most traditional church is the Orthodox, followed by the Catholics.
Grayson Collins
Witchcraft designed to manipulate the physical world and gratify the flesh with worldly and sensual things. Stay away from Kabballah.
Jaxson Gonzalez
If you masturbate several times a day go down to once a day. Keep it that way for two weeks and then go to once every day. Then every third. When you're up to once a week try going a month without anything. Then you can wank when you want, but try to be mindful of it controlling you like it did in the past.
Don't quit cold turkey and remind yourself why you want to quit when you struggle.
Henry Morris
According to this chart Orthadox seem to be pretty cucked however... Not too sure I agree with that.
David Evans
Lutheran for me is the closest Church to what Jesus teach us.
But you have to found you own path and trust God.
Jose Howard
I live in central Florida, how do you feel about the Southern Baptist church? They seem pretty uncucked judging by that chart I posted, and I think that may be my best chance to meet a conservative God fearing QT
Levi Nelson
Kek is certainly real. The digits and happenings confirm. We're forbidden from worshipping anyone other than the Christian God, but I think we can worship in our own way while also acknowledging Kek's power.
Elijah Ramirez
Also what's the difference between "evangelical" and non evangelical.
I'm sorry for asking so many questions, just genuinely interested.
Well Mormons are at the top of that list, the most Republican, but they're also completely different than "original Christianity."
The Orthodox Church and Catholics are the oldest and most structured, and closest to original Christianity.
Brandon Richardson

Great and important question. On the level, I still jack, but not to porn. I dislike it but I'm an alpha cracker and my jacked body has needs. It's not perfect but it's part of my walk, and it's a BIG improvement over my past of lots of casual sex and porn. So how do you stop? Draw close to God (reading His word, praying, exercising his will) which will empower you. Stop watching it and jack without it, and the impulse to watch porn will weaken. I easily go 6+ months without failing and watching porn, and every time I do I see how strong the sickness of porn is because I see the images in my head for a day or two afterwards. It's empowering to see how bad it is and that helps me avoid it for longer periods each time.
Xavier Adams
Deceiver, alpha cracker here to tell you real men don't need to watch porn, even celebate ones.
Austin Ward
>closest to original Christianity How? Catholics are one of the most blaspheme christians of all.
The very idea of a Pope is a offense to our Lord.
Dominic Perry
There is only one path, that's God's word. My tip is to read the King James bible, cover to cover, at least once before attending any church. Then you'll have eyes to see and gauge whether a church is bible-based or man-based.
Gavin Hall
I have been messing witg /x stuff (demons and shit) nowu I feel the need to repent and build the kingdom of God on this Earth
Dominic Miller
Get used to saying no Turn your back on the deceiver Whose whispers in your ear complicate your life Willpower, energy, example What has to be done is done Without wavering Without worrying about what others think
Let obstacles only make you bigger Get rid of those useless thoughts Which are at best a waste of time Don't waste your energy and your time Throwing stones at the dogs that bark at you on the way Ignore them Don't put off your work until tomorrow Don't succumb to that disease of character Whose symptoms are a general lack of seriousness Unsteadiness in action and speech Foolishness In a word: frivolity
If you clash with the character of one person or another It has to be that way You're not a dollar bill to be liked by everyone If your character and that of those around you Were soft and sweet like marshmallows You would never become the person destiny's ordained Don't stop to think about excuses Get rid of them, and do what you should
You say you can't do more? Couldn't it be, that you can't do less? You never want to get to the bottom of things At times because of politeness Other times -- most times -- because you fear hurting yourself Sometimes, again, because you fear hurting others But always because of fear With that fear of digging for the truth You'll never be a man of good judgment Don't be afraid of the truth Even though the truth may mean your death
Joshua Lewis
>The most traditional church is the Orthodox, followed by the Catholics. Deceiver, Jesus warned against the "traditions" of men. Catholicism is about as far away from Jesus as you can get without being an atheist, camelfag, or satanist.
Camden Gomez
Southern Baptists are pretty cool. I know they have a zeal and fervor Catholics don't show often today. They may be overly focused on faith, and "being saved". Different Churches have different opinions on what is needed for salvation. I am wary of faith only doctrine as it can be an excuse to continue sinning knowing Jesus forgives us. To me an important part of "accepting Jesus" is following his teachings honestly and to the best of my ability.
Michael Watson
"Evangalical" isn't even a real thing, it's a label given to christians by non-believers. Protip, so is "christian".

What does the Catholic and Orthodox church exist for? I say this as a converting atheist. Is it just to ensure the integrity of the teachings?
Lucas Cooper
>Come home Atheist Friend, there is another path
Logan Morales
I agree. No wonder there's sola Scriptura in Early Christianity...am I right?
Luis Cooper
Yall neojews make me sick. Literally bridge the gap between kikes and sand niggers
Cooper Young
You'll notice I said reading the bible is most important. I merely said Catholic and Orthodox are the oldest churches. I now how unpopular Catholics are here.
Grayson Sanders
I really am. I recently went to a Latin Mass and have done prayer on my own. My aunt was a Catholic nun and she passed away and we inherited alot of her belongings. I have a nice rosary of pearls from Italy, and some nice small statues of Mary and one of David. And the church of mine is literally in my neighborhood. The bells toll and it's beautiful. The women wear veils and everyone seems happy. It's nice really
David Hill
Have you never heard of Nazarenes? Learn your own religion Newkike
Samuel Kelly
They are the formations of the "traditions of men" which mislead followers of Jesus. Study God's word first (King James bible if you can't go Greek/Hebrew yet) and let the churches of men reveal themselves to you as misled.
Grayson Williams
Is what Jesus teach us. Wich is oppose of what Catholics teach
Adrian Watson
How have they existed this long and with such strength if they are heresy?
Jonathan Cox
It shouldn't be "Catholics" that are unpopular, because that refers to the people. While they may be too lazy to read their own bible and are therefore misled, they are my brothers and I pray for them. Catholicism, the formations of the traditions of men, turns the liberty of Christ into religion and is a perversion.
Austin Sanchez
Protestants are the ones that mislead people from the truth.
Paul's views of the Eucharist is certainly enraging to many Protestants
Connor Hernandez
I believe praying is a pagan corruption of the scriptures. God knows what is going on in your head and heart. The energy spent trying to decipher your emotions into spoken word could be much better spent helping your fellow man with activities of compassion and love. God is not into bullshit idolise and tokenism, he's a straight shooter
Thomas Morgan
Because it's just another kike scheme to rule the world through by getting them to worship a fake kike
Austin Lopez
>Nazarenes Yep, pre "christian" label given by non-believers also, and pre Catholic council of Nicea too IIRC.

Are you really Malaysian? I know you're the anti calvinist
Jaxson Evans
The prince of the power of the air (satan) is given this world, the apostates are gibbed out by satan.
Austin Adams
Jesus did not teach sola Scriptura. Otherwise, we need not tradition to read his word or even better yet, his word coming from tradition.
Here, a late 1st century Church Father shows us how the Early Church is like. Oops, no sola Fide there
Chase Brown
Look I'm being somewhat serious here. Has everyone really just been fooled by the churches?
Aiden Rogers
I am a girl
Michael Stewart
You're a fool for even using the word protestant. That doesn't even mean anything, that's just another division which is mislead from His word.
John Martinez
I don't believe prayer is for Gods sake, but for our own. Of course he knows what we're about before we even take the knee. If prayer is bad? Why did Jesus teach us how to pray and give us the Lords Prayer? Why did he Pray to the Father in the garden before his crucifixion?
Hudson Collins
Deceiver, prayer is second only to educating one's self on His word by reading the bible, cover to cover.
Christian Nguyen
Any advice on letting go of hate? I find myself really hating and wishing death upon anyone not-white at various times. Especially with the recent events involving black lives matter.
Landon Edwards
Personally I've been fooled by no church. I call out bullshit and kikery when it presents itself.

What does /pol think of The Kybalion and Hermeticism in general?
Jace Reyes
I didn't ask that
Joseph Jackson
Not everyone, but many. Churches are under constant attack by satanic infiltrators (such as homo pedophiles) and many have become apostate.
Liam Turner
His word is different from yours.
The last time I checked, Paul wants Christians to be steadfast in their faith and walk in the spirit. That takes efforts and works. So if I wanna enter the Jesus cult, I have to work my ass off to show my faith, requiring effort and exercising my own will
Cooper Kelly
What tradition are you talking about?
Catholics are one of the most gay-lovers of all. Watch Pope Francis.
Bentley Gonzalez

Isaiah Garcia
And give praise to a kike cultist
Hunter Robinson
I think it's natural to struggle with hate, especially against injustice, but brother, I can't tell you how powerful forgiveness has been for me. Talk about liberty, few things are as freeing as freeing myself from hatred. (especially hatred of those who harm me)
Christian Scott
I'm skeptical of power structures in general. I'm just wondering if people have just been that gullible for so many centuries. It just seems like after being figured out as hersey, the Catholic or orthodox church would have dissolved
Brandon Richardson
Bruhs, what are your favorite parables?
Jose Sanchez
Sort of, Imo. They are all corrupted and can lead to mental illness/possession. The true God can be found by studying all faiths and cross referencing with one's moral compass.
Christopher Walker
Just passing by to say that I love Jesus
Nolan Clark
Contemplate Christs forgiveness of the world on the cross. Know you are a beneficiary of that forgiveness, and do your best to see everyone as a child of God, deserving of forgiveness.
Also know that God Judges you as you Judge others, and as you forgive others, so shall God forgive you.
Austin Walker
>His word is different from yours. I didn't see your point, be more specific.
Carson Myers
>I'd prefer as close as possible to REAL Christianity, how it was truly intended, not this modern day "it's ok to be gay and transgender" version. If you're a U.S. citizen, then a KJV-only (usually baptist) church is likely your best bet (luckily for you there are no shortage of those in America). Orthodox churches seem to be the most based ones in Europe. I'm having a hard time recommending Catholicism when they swear allegiance to a pope who is an anti-Christian globalist virtue-signalling nutjob. If the next pope is a new 'Urban 2' then that might redeem Catholicism in my eyes.
Brody Thompson
was Abraham justified by faith or works?
Caleb Cooper
People have been stupid forever, yes
Alexander Parker
From verse 10, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Sounds like Paul wants works. He only says that the works that can truly save cannot be done by anyone outside of Grace. He says that God is the one that makes Salvation possible in context. He does not say, God will do everything for you and you are a passive toy
Matthew Gonzalez
Protip to brothers in the faith and those on the fence, watch every Chuck Missler video you can find on Youtube. Anti religion in true Jesus fashion, endless helpings of bread.
Christopher Butler
Abraham's faith is one he exercised of his will and shown through action.
He did not get mind controlled and was implanted with the decision to sacrifise Issac
Dylan Bell
How many of you, like me, are fairly certain the end times are within your lifetime? Too many prophecies have come to pass for my liking
Cooper Gray
Faith and faith alone. It's also said in scripture that faith without works is dead. What this means is that if there is genuine faith, there will be works, and NOT that works save, but that they are the evidence of faith.
Adrian Allen
>for our own sake You would feel much better/fulfilled by using your time productively than talking to a wall. Unless I am mistaken, I'm sure a just and loving god would feel the same
Andrew Reed
This guy knows the bidniss. Worship no man or man's word. It's all tainted. God can only be achieved through self, not scripture
Carter Diaz
Tradition is what makes Scripture and its what is required to understand them. The latter is found in the Regula fidei, the hypothesis of Scripture by the Church which forms the mechanism of reading it, alongside the multiple methods of interpreting such as allegory and typology.
Ayden Phillips
I would be surprised if it isn't, watching the events of the world during my life.
Chase Gomez
>You would feel much better/fulfilled by using your time productively than talking to a wall. Says many people who will then turn around and rant non-stop about the physical and mental benefits of 'meditation'.
Kevin Williams
End times is the end of suffering and the birth of utopia. Sooner the better
Logan Sanchez
1. Christianity has a history of violence and oppression. Women who were found dancing could be burned alive or thrown into a lake. Men were lashed or worse for practicing behaviors that local authorities may have deemed unchristlike. Non Christians could slaughtered, or forced to convert.
How would you explain to a potential convert that this is history better left forgotten, or how would one be able to be a Christian without this history on their conscious?
2. Modern day Christianity is often stigmatized with pedophilia, homophobia, and alcoholism within the communities of Christ. Violent abuse, and careless judgement are often seen and heard of within the churches. How would you explain to a potential convert that your religion is a safe place for them and their family, with so much harmful energy now coming from the church?
Sebastian Jones
Deceiver, little is more productive than prayer with our Father.
Nolan Jenkins
This is me
Luis Moore
I would be very surprised if the end times did not occur within our lifetime.
Zachary Flores
Deceiver, lower yourself from the high mountain you place yourself on, for your sake.
Luis Gonzalez
Praise Christ
David Jenkins
That isn't scripture that's the religion of men. What made scripture was God's direction to his secretaries the Jews. Why do you think they had to be so precise with His word, to preserve it. (Not that some didn't then later pervert it in Babylon with the Talmud)
Brody Perez
I don't meditate if that's what you are implying. I did use a lot of drugs to reach my perspective. I no longer need them.
Hudson Collins
Stop deceiving, Satan
Isaiah Robinson
>Women who were found dancing could be burned alive You're talking about Catholicism and other religions of men.
