Have you ever been arrested and why?

I once was arrested because i hit a woman's car and fled the scene
> mfw no jail time because the lady who hit had a shitty lawyer

Im sorry not jail time, but prison time

Is this the website reddit i've heard so much about?

i am planning to become a police officer or a deputy sheriff

I was arrested in February of this year. I spent two days in jail, the cell was really small and the toilet didn't have a cover. They offered to give me lunch but I declined it. It gave me a chance to catch up on my reading.

Why?

Assualt/battery

No
Never got caught

nah

closest i've came to it was having 2 cops pull a u turn when they spotted me walking home from a party early in the morning

i was on the comedown from a lot of ekkies and must have looked incredibly fucked lol

the one who questioned me seemed pretty amused, tried to trip me up with some tricky questioning but i wasn't that out of it and caught him, so they just let me go kek

Nope
Only interaction with police was in HS me and my gf parked on the side of the road yada yada yada a cop interrupted us and said to scram.

Yes
Possession of drugs

Possession of drugs and distributing. Spent 3 months in jail

>i was on the comedown from a lot of ekkies and must have looked incredibly fucked lol

Here you can have a glimpse of the mainstream culture in my country.

Yes. DUI.

what are ekkies?

that's "mainsteam culture" everywhere in the west you fussy cunt

the only difference is which drug is popular

ecstasy

No

fuck you driving while under the influence for

Are you a power hungry cunt who gets a stiffy over telling others what to do, or a decent guy?

Against who?

Without a doubt you are a white middle class 20 year old with a Maori tribal sleeve tattoo and an apprenticeship opportunity in Brisbane.

nah, I just run or talk my way out of it, and only minor stuff
>trespassing in a neighbouring forest
talked out of that one, i knew the cop personally and he knew that people hung out there a lot, just had to enforce law because of ethics
>smoking DUDE in HS parking lot
bullshitted, said i didn't smoke, friends backed me up (i owe each of those guys a drink, fuck)
>snorting rails of drugs off of a salt bin at an abandoned building
just ran into a forest lmao, had a head start and they didn't bother trekking into dense canadian winter forests
>friend almost dying from smoking DUDE because she didn't tell me she's a high risk asthmatic
paramedics and cops called, cops were city cops who dealt with far crazier shit and i was a college kid
so the sergeant literally just told me to smoke over at the park and not in residence because the college could penalize me
he ended up just hiding my bong under a stack of clothes (found it a few months later) and the residence director was just extremely happy that i knew CPR to help
wierd as shit few days looking back

Its pills. Generally not MDMA though. More likely some speedy RC's from China.

also im not some scum of the earth shit, just that our hometown's boring
a big part of me not getting in trouble with the school is due to the fact that i did very well in my academics and portrayed myself as a decent kid
nowadays i only smoke maybe once a month

well i'm white and middle class, but no tattoos, got a degree, and i live and work in auckland

uninformed cynicism is a pretty shit substitute for actual experience btw

power hungry cunt definitely

Some Chad who was laughing at me with his roasties

Some people can drive fine when they are drunk, some cant. I'm one of the people who can. As far as I am concerned I did nothing wrong, and I would have gotten away with it had some do-gooder not called the cops.

>Some people can drive fine when they are drunk, some cant.
no they can't, there is motor function delay in any body when under the influence of alcohol
but go ahead, I'd be fine with you getting another DUI

I was arrested by Russian border guards and taken to the nearest police station in Pskov while stopping to take a picture on the Saatse Boot. The ruskies were hiding in shelters along the road, hidden in the woods. In Pskov I was rudimentally interrogated - my Russian is poor, their English was poor - and had my camera checked before they escorted me back to Estonia a couple of hours later. The fine was negligible but obviously I didn't have any rubles on me so I just handed them a €20 note and a bottle of Vana Tallinn I had bought the day before. In hindsight, I think they just arrested me because they were bored.

Bullshit, you could have killed someone

Quit being a dumbass

I was once taken into police custody and interviewed under caution (not the same thing as being arrested) for a suspected cp offence. I refused to answer any of their questions, and then they let me go because they had no offence. I should also add that I was genuinely completely innocent, and they successfully prosecuted the person who was guilty.

>tfw hospitalized so the cop had to put all the fines in my pocket and couldn't arrest me

The problem with DUIs is that they are handed out to anyone who has alcohal in there system now. Some dude who had 2 to 3 beers gets the same punishment as someone who was plastered and fucked up speech and movements. Its pretty stupid.

No, I'm a law abiding citizen :^)

Just the 1 speeding ticket

Not necessarily, they will get charged with the same offense but the judge has some discretion in sentencing.

>Call cops because step-mom has a knife

>when she goes after me, I hit her in the shoulder

>she spends two days in jail and I spend the night in some holding cell because I technically could be charged with battery despite it being self-defense and she had a fucking knife

>in the end, nothing happens

the police are pretty useless, since we've had incidents before and the cops came in, laughing "oh its this house again" before they realized she had a knife.

Cops are too used to the guy be the abuser, so when its a woman, they tend not to do much about it since the laws aren't as strict, or something.

at least I didn't get anything on my record
