BIG american air power

I think it's currently the Belgians and Americans. I don't know what guys we had as air force before, they did all kinds of cool shit in the skies for all to see.

This is the only fixed-wing combat aircraft that we have. It's a re-purposed civilian plane so we could circumvent the arms embargo we were under in the '90s.

>europoor

Why would Nato-members spend huge ammounts on their air force when you do it for them, for free?

Look at that wonderfully tasteful grey white

We just bought a shitload of these F-39 Gripen NG for god knows how much for no reason.

We were doing just fine with our EMB 314 A-29`s and the Mirage 2000 that were literally trown away.

...

We also use these little cuties for ISTAR as well as training
They look fucking resplendent in the grey, don't they?

pls no bully

Here's our big spooky plane for spying on the continental types

They weren't.

They were just 12 that was bought because at first they were going to buy Rafales and they bought Mirages to "fill-in" till they got the Rafales. Then FHC fucked everything up and they ended up with 12 Mirages that were expensive as fuck to maintain and were even more expensive to modernize, plus they couldn't really fit some of our shit into the newly modernized plane. That's why they opted to modernize the F-5's, which were cheaper and were good workhorses till later they started a new program for new jets.

You got 36 modern fighter jets for a really good price (just compare it to Indias Rafales or Japans F-35s if you dont belive me). Stop bitching about it.

They are great
We gave our last one to Ireland tho

>We were doing just fine with our EMB 314 A-29`s and the Mirage 2000 that were literally trown away.

Our pilots had low self-esteem for flying outdated aircraft while living in a superpower like Brazil.

here's our tanker
look at how dumb that tilt is

Here is our tanker (we only have one)

We use those for cargo :D

WAIT I WAS WRONG ITS A SEPERATE MODEL WHY WOULD I NOT THINK THAT
ps to lockheed finish quicker plox

We too, the one configured as a tanker can still be used as a regular cargo transport too. Got a ride in it few years ago

We also lease some of these

lol, like 30% of the F-35 is made in the UK so more like BAE finish quicker plox

cute

Pls buy.

nuh uh if it was British made the whole order would be out the door in less than a year and never break down
Here's an helicopter
I think it's RAF, but it might be Army

I RECOGNIZE THAT BULGE
It's so ridiculously cute
If it wasn't for the fact that we already have a gorillion hercules' and shit I would be all for it
Maybe when we get independance we can buy some, or you can bully Ireland into forking out the shekels :^)

We probably will, its either that or C-130Js.

PLZ BUY

That's an ugly one

...

She's got a disgusting, misshapen appeal to her, though
Like the Nimrod!

Doesn't the PM fly around in a modified one of those? It can at least refuel escorts as it goes I suppose lmao.

We're ok for large transport planes.

>RAF
>RN

Why the Army doesn't get a "Royal" in their name?

We did and SAAB delayed the program a little. Even though i read months ago that the first unit of the new gen was already being built.

Gibsme dat.

Dunno m8. They all have to swear allegiance to the Queen so.

are you immune to irony? we need this planes, and fast

Why would you want slavshit?

Even muhreens have Royal in their name.

Huh, apparently. I thought they still used BA for the longer flights.
What surprises me is that the Voyager is supposed to still be able to perform tanker duties
I can't imagine it's very comfy in there for her maj or the PM
Bring back the 146, I say

...

>no S-Duct
>doesn't even use the engine its design
>already surpassed by Chinks

>it's designed for

Fix.

PLANES
AIRCRAFT

NAVAL AIRCRAFT

...

...

Really wanna see a tuboprop dogfights with missiles someday.

F

That's a NATO plane, been in the exact one pictured.

wait wrong pic, this one has no nukes

Any explanation on why it happened?

it hit the ground but not at the right angle or with the right speed or with the landing gear extended

I know but why? Mechanical or Eletronic failure? Pilot fuckup?

Notice on how it's similar on what it happened with the Italian EF a few weeks ago.

well mechanical I guess because the armour didn't protect it from going squish

Its something related to the civil war.

Because it's Russian.

>parroting /k/ memes

Brazilian parrot, remember that most of the /k/ userbase are rednecks from Kentucky and Ukrainians who have no experience in aircraft craftsmanship whatsoever.

The J-31 is using Mig-29 engines which are worse than the Su-35 engines used in the PAK-FA. This is your Chinese "superpower"

That would be cool
But machine guns and canons should be a primary again
Just for fun

We're very proud

Armour? What armour?

Like Army's butthurt on using the "Royal" name?

Older one

Yeah, its part of Heavy Airlift Wing in Papa, Hungary. Sweden is part of that programe despite not beeing a Nato member. If I remember correctly we are the ones who fly them the most, and we have our own C-17 pilots.

...

Another old picture

Newspaper about the Vulcan that landed here duting falklands war.

Was one of my favourites.

So butifel. Why they didn't made a sucessor?

*blocks your path*

They didn't need another bomber like that

Not sure, probably because missile technology became better and they felt these kind of bombers weren't necessary.

Well, Russians and Americans still using the same type of aircraft for their missions and they can launch missiles.

>Aircraft designed in the 50's
>Main weapons (gravity nuclear bombs) obsolete by middle 60's, standoff nuclear missile (Blue Steel) outpaced by SAM development in the 60's
>Main nuclear missile replacement for Blue Steel (Skybolt) canceled
>Nuclear Submarines with Polaris could do its intended mission (nuclear deterrence) with better results
>Low payload for conventional bombing missions
There you go

Successive British governments have been terrible at recognising problems and providing the military with proper equipment. Our procurement processes are awful. Thankfully we have well trained people.

Makes sense for their doctrine. Even though there's a fair share of 60's bombers being used today.

Too much paperwork?

...

...

Old but Aesthetic.

...

...

shameful but getting better. f35 by 2020 they say : (. Two more squadrons of f16 coming up.

And we still have Mig21s lol

>who have no experience in aircraft craftsmanship whatsoever.
And you do?

Pic related, best US made aircraft that never made it into service.
Northrop wanted to sell it to India but DoD killed the sale, they worried it would undercut F-16 sales.

What's the differences between this and the F-5?
