"I speak different languages"
"Oh yeah? which ones?"
>names only european languages
"I speak different languages"
>I speak an East Asian language
>mfw speaking Turkic, Germanic and Slavic languages simultaneously
>Speaking mapundungun is useful
>he speaks an east asian language
What languages do you speak user?
>2017
>not being expertly fluent in mandarin
I speak English, Spanish, German and Italian.
I want to learn Japanese in the next 5 years.
Is that impressive?
You don't speak french, so no.
>speaking Subhumanese
>I want to learn
No, it's not impressive
Those are only european languages you speak and OP implies thats not very impressive
Which Slav language is the most fun to learn? There's way too many of them and they're all so fucking similar.
as much as I'd like to learn japanese, don't have time to get through it, german was alright to learn
Definetely Russki, the most geographically widespread East Slavic language
I don't give a fuck about the leafs.

Ignoring this post.
Point taken.
Cyrillic is such a cluster fuck though. I can read it, albeit slowly, but holy shit it makes my head hurt.
>I speak 3 languages
Oh cool, what are they
>Swedish, English, and Norwegian
>he only learns """"""""relevant"""""""" languages
>learning Swedish and norwegian
Are you trying to become the most useless men on earth?
The one where it makes sound from my mouth
it becomes easier over time. after a few months you can read it easily as Latin alphabets.
considering the relative lack of foreign flags in most national generals I'd say everybody who constantly shitposts about how many languages they're learning are full of fucking shit and just pick random obscure languages and do two levels on Duolingo with them
blatteneger
>I only speak constructed languages
If you can speak fluent Ithkuil you're literally unhuman though.
Normal humans can't think fast enough to speak it at any reasonable pace.
Esperanto is easy though, yeah.
1 year of Esperanto + 2 years of any Romance language yields better results in the Romance language than 3 years of the Romance language.
That comes with time. I started out really slow with both Hebrew and Cyrillic alphabets, but my reading speed is about double what it used to be, even if it's just determining the words.
Dos is farvos ikh lern mikh Yiddish.
European languages are the majority languages in every single continent but Asia and the only good places in Asia have English and French speakers
I was speaking of myself, I like Ithkuil and Lojban but they have very little utility.
Eurocentrism is kinda gay
Russian Hebrew and English over here, how can you even compete?
Because non european languages are harder to learn and would take way more time, in the same time i learn japanese i could learn italian, french and german
>he doesnt know the mors code
>learning japanese so you can watch anime without subtitles
