I was impressed too with their being no quips at all. Maybe a few comical moments but it wasn't done in that horrible way that you see be done in MCU movies.

I loved the way that end fight scene was filmed with Logan slaughtering those soldiers. No fast cut shitty editing like you see on a lot of other movies (and the horrible editing on the show Iron First). Just a one camera take following Logan running and viciously attacking.

If you haven't seen this in the cinemas then go and pay to see it immediately!

What is there to know? What purpose would that serve? Xavier is having seizures due to a degenerative brain condition, and he accidentally killed the X-Men a year before the movie starts. That's what the audience needs to know. That's what was explained in the movie.

Storywise it was nothing special. It was all about the characterization and character interactions, which is why is kinda ventured back into the original cheesy X-men territory in the third act in the forest.

Again, the movie takes 12 years into the future. The X-Men die a year before the movie takes place, in 2028.

Why would Fox have to address something that won't happen in over a decade? And that's assuming that they would even need to address this at all, because this movie could be handwaved away as its own timeline. There's no need to retcon something that won't affect the story for years.
