Yeah, when I was in high school and was too much of a scaredy cat to buy paraphernalia, I made mine out of a glass mayo jar tho. Bongs are too much of a drag to get them to work right anyway so regular smokers don't bother with them much, a hitter is more practical. Bongs are just something you do as a dumb teenager.

yes, burn a fingertip-sized hole in the down side of the bottle, load picrel with weed and put it on top instead of the cap, then burn the weed while simultaniously controlling the water flow with your other hand, once all weed's burned take cap off and inhale all the smoke (preferably in one go)
