That shot looks from Paris, Texas- which you should watch.

Have you seen Before Sunrise?

Lost in Translation

this

I don't know what movie it's from, but it made me think of Paris, Texas also

and OP should definitely watch

I have only ever watched it once. I feel like a big part of the magic is that I knew nothing about the plot. from the mysterious beginning, I had no clue where it was going. it could have turned into a horror or sci-fi movie for all I could figure. I imagine I'd still enjoy watching it again. outside of curiosity about the story, I just was enjoying watching it.

I'm wary of Linklater. it seems like Dazed & Confused was a fluke and he sucks at making movies.

and I realized I don't need visuals. I just like listening to people talk. so I put on exactly the type of talking I want to hear.

Have you watched this one?

A Scanner Darkly was good.

I see that view every day. A

Watch Before Sunrise and its sequels. You'll love them.

Blue Ruin

I was gonna say this but I was afraid the sadness wasn't deliberate.

personally i found before sunrise overrated garbage. Too much cliches and just unbelievable overall movie. Havent's seen and no intention for sequels.
