>Adam's movies are consistently the most watched movies on Netflix
Get yr head checked, kid. Sandler deserves it.
I tried watching uh..... Ridiculous 6 and Do Over. I made it like 5 minutes into each one. The Cobbler I actually sat through the whole thing, probably one of the top 5 worst movies I've ever seen. I just don't understand... Billy Madison is a classic, why can't he make another one that good?
Yeah. I honestly don't have a huge issue with Sandler. I like quite a few of his films. Netflix is honestly the best platform for his films because his fanbase will watch them there. Typical moviegoers shrug at Adam Sandler and avoid seeing them. My main point was that Netflix has kinda declined but Sandler has a huge fanbase on there so I shouldn't really complain.
I should really watch a few of the new films.
They could spent it on a decent user interface.
That's capitalism for you.
inb4 people call me a commie
is the cobbler a netflix original?
It's a smart business move.
Adam Sandler writes retarded movies for retarded people. Because Netflix is now a must-hav for normies, the % of their customers who want to "just switch off your brain XD" is growing.
They've just bet on a sure thing- Sandler is a master of churning out shitty movies for people who want stupid, watchable humour, and cramming it full of product placement to ensure he and his buddies get paid.
Netflix know whats up, they're grabbing the cash while it's there for them before someone like Apple starts doing the same thing and takes a giant shit on them due to larger resources (as they're doing to Dropbox and Spotify atm)
Adam Sandler always breaks records on netflix , his shit is popular.
torontosun.com
They are just trying to stay profitable
>Adam Sandler writes retarded movies for retarded people. Because Netflix is now a must-hav for normies, the % of their customers who want to "just switch off your brain XD" is growing.
buddy, not even normies like adam sandler. he's literally shit.
Sandler just needs another dramatic roll or two.
Reign on Me and Punch Drunk Love are both great.
>Netflix will remove X-Files
are you niggers fucking serious im only on season 3
As always torrenting is the best move
you have like 6 days to finish all 9 seasons
Watch something less gay.
Have you guys seen the trailer for his latest Netflix sponsored bowel movement?
It's honestly baffling.
I know people who legitimately liked Jack & Jill, thought it was the funniest shit ever.
You not liking it != Nobody liking it
They'll make stacks of cash of this if it works, and it'll prove that stuffing their catalog with easy watching to cater for people who just want something to switch off to is a good idea
They're already working with Brad Pitt and Will Smith respectively and there are plenty of other series on Netflix that haven't left. They have so much money now that tossing some at Adam Sandler to appease the idiot masses won't take away from any of their other ongoing and upcoming projects.
If you haven't seen Joss Whedon's shit or the X-Files by now, then you're the ultimate procrastinator. They'll be back eventually.
I hope one of these is a dramatic role, because he's been seriously underrated as a dramatic, serious actor. He's a mediocre comedian that made a few good comedies, but as a serious actor he's surprisingly good, but he's only had like three full blown dramatic movies and Click which was somewhere in-between.
>respectively
I don't think you know what that word means or how to properly put it in a sentence.
Thats the problem dude. Take the nostalgia goggles off. Billy Madison sucks too
>The huge library of films and TV that Netflix once had are now gone
The biggest long term problem for netflix might be studios setting up their own streaming services.
Are you, or have you ever been a member of the communist party?
I don't think you do because he used it correctly....
Sandler is for patricians.
t. plebbitor
They have their own successful original content that's growing every year, by the time that happens I don't think they'll care whatsoever
>Netflix will remove X-Files and Buffy the Vampire Slayer next month
Oh fuck you Netflix.
>He still hasn't seen all the episodes while they were available for 1000 years.
Good thing I don't have netflix
might sign up for hulu for xfiles though just to spite them
>Netflix has so much money
Netflix is poised to have a negative free cash flow of over $2 billion for 2017, ignorant moron.
is his wife still hot
How can you spite a multi-billion dollar company that doesn't even know of your existence?
>waaahhh why is Netflix making new shows instead of just old 90's shows everybody on earth has already seen
>negative free cash flow
in english doc
I,too, do not know how to read
>Netflix has so much money that they could fund a new original series made by extremely talented unknown writers and directors
>Spends the money on more Adam Sandler films.
helping the competitor either by shilling or buying their service
its a normal thing done in business. the $10 is irrevelant or whatever I'd pay but its all about numbers. the number people. the growth etc..
Unless you're starting a collaborative effort with other people, your efforts will be trivial.
But I guess It'll be a good use of your free time.
>Netflix has so much money that they could get some of those shows back
It's not Netflix's resources that are the problem, it's that the studios & distributors aren't as friendly with them anymore. They're competition, both in terms of streaming service and content creation.
>Netflix has so much money that they could fund a new original series made by extremely talented unknown writers and directors
They do. Constantly.
>paying (((royalties))) when you can make your own movies
>The huge library of films and TV that Netflix once had are now gone
They dropped the ball long ago when they removed Miami Vice.
I've had Netflix for over 10 years now. I'll probably have it till I die. I don't even know why anymore.
Yes user, it's a shame Adam Sandler movies is the only thing Netflix has ever made and will ever make.
So basically Netflix is just another channel with shitty original programming.
Netflix is too expensive for me,i use prime and some illegal streams.
Why are you in this thread then? That's the whole discussion here. Of course they'll make other content. Moron.
Why not just torrent at that point man?
Amazon Prime is the future. They have a massive library of old movies/TV shows and they have some good original content.
Yeah he deserves a bullet.
You deserve one too.
All seasons are available in 1080p on B*******T.N**
Watched grown-ups the other day, jesus christ what a crappy movie.
Kevin Hart deserves a bullet
Don't have enough hdd space, not enough seeders, can't access torrent sites without vpn, it is harder to find quality stuffs.
I agree.
2tb external USB3 drive is 60 bucks
>Spends the money on more Adam Sandler films.
His old deal clearly contributed to this excess of money you're harping on about.
They can still do what you greentexted anyway
from a business point of view, it's a safe bet
This xfiles business pisses me off
I would say like 95% of the time when I search for a movie Netflix tells me it's DVD only. How is this still a thing.
ENOUGH
No, he didn't, but it doesn't really matter
Two 1tb seagate died on me.Maybe mechanical disks are not that reliable and i can't get over the fact that i lost everything that day.Everything was so meticulously organized, few month old hdds and this whole thing puts me off the idea of downloading and cataloguing things.
I still have all 9 seasons on x-files on DVD, I don't give a fuck long as I get a new season on trailer park boys.
>Netflix is too expensive for me
It's like 10 bucks a month. How are you this poor but have internet access?
>removing X-Files
What the FUCK
they don't have the money but
it's all debt
>Netflix is already $2.37 billion in debt, but the company announced today in a press release that it was raising another $800 million through a new debt offering in order for the streaming service to create more original content.
Also they wont be buying many shows at all
>Sarandos added that the company wants to move to having about 50 percent of its catalog being original content
You can find them online op.
no need for netflix
>all these people who are too young to have seen shows that were on 24/7 in the 90's and are too pleb to know how to watch anything that isn't on Netflix
This is embarrassing.
Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore and Waterboy are his only good movies
Drop netfux and get amazon prime instead.
> tfw you dont use netflix anymore but pay for it for family
you talk like a faggot. you really don't belong on this website
For essential data, a single external hdd is not a great backup solution.
For distractions and other useless garbage like television and film, it's perfect if you're short of space.
Almost 20 dollar a month.has basic, standard and premium plans.Prime is 10 $/year.
Man this list is all over the place, mostly bad
we never had Buffy or X-files on our netflix
spoiled fucks
>Was going to get it for Bosch
>Bosch is apparently actually on that fucking shittastic CraveTV instead here
These companies need to fuck right off
YOU COMMUNIST FAGGOT
>Netflix will remove X-Files and Buffy the Vampire Slayer next month
Why?
>Using Jewflix
Why? If you browse here you know better. Pirate and spend way less money than an annual Netflix account on a VPN if you need to. There is no service in the world that matches piracy and there never will be because the kykes can't come to any reasonable agreement.
Oh man I am so stoked for more nutshots and fart jokes
But I'm not anti-Semitic and also my parents instilled values in me which make me feel as if taking the fruit of others' labor without any exchange (fair or not) is unethical.
Adam Sandler, known money launderer. I have a friend who sometimes visits Netflix for work and apparently they have heated public toilets.
I got rid of Netflix the day after they took off Fawlty towers, its just glorified renting. Its better in the long run to buy the physical copy of something you really like.
cuck
i dont know what that is you retard, write it properly
anyone dumb enough to pay for netflix deserves to watch adam sandler movies
Will Lilihammer come back?
It was the only show I followed other than Stranger Things.
He used it correctly in the sentence but there was no need for the word becauase there was no reason to differentiate between Smith and Pitt.
are there any actually good Netflix shows?
most of their "original content" is just BBC
Blows my mind.
Because the discussion is ignoring that key piece of information that Netflix has actual worthwild shows along with mass appeal crap like Adam Sandler movies or Kevin Hart specials. Fuck reading that over feels like shilling
Oh wow, it's like netflix is for normies with shit taste so they wanna pander to their target audience
...
They only made one or two good shows; I wish they would put more focus on quality.
>50 percent original content
They do realize that a sizeable portion of their current customers don't want to watch 99% of netflix original content, right?
Only netflix sees how many people watch a show, which means there is no external motivation for them to take risks if their internal goals are met.
>fox raises rights fees
>netflix tells them to fuck off
Zero issues here. You can pick up box sets of all those series for like 10 bucks.
>>The huge library of films and TV that Netflix once had are now gone
Blame this one on studio greed.
Netflix started off with nothing and studios sold them movie rights for peanuts because no one thought streaming would work.
Netflix made it work, put together the infrastructure and figured out pricing, they did all the hard stuff and the studios pulled their content because they now all want their own services and a slice of the customers cash.
And who loses? us. Because instead of having everything together on one service at a reasonable price, we get 20 services that provide you a fraction of what you want at full price.
And studios wonder why so many people pirate.
And who loses? us. Because instead of having everything together on one service at a reasonable price, we get 20 services that provide you a fraction of what you want at full price.
And studios wonder why so many people pirate.
Pretty much nailed it.
I'm not going to pay for 20 services montly. I'll pay for one. If that doesn't cut it fuck them all.
I win.
