There are a lot more Israeli posters than you'd find on 8/pol/, probably. Everyone is family 1488 but not full 1488, which can be a good thing. 8/pol/ doesn't have as many outsiders trying to btfo Sup Forums on a regular basis. Also, replying to obvious bait in a serious manner is a fun little habit I picked up here.

4/pol/ is surprisingly currently the better of the two boards. eight/pol/ is currently having overzealous (arguably compromised) moderator problems. This should be common knowledge among Sup Forumsacks. Hopefully it will encourage the BO to repair the situation.

White nationalism in its most basic, all-American format has tons of possibilities and is already transforming into a very helpful sentiment to have in current year.

It's really nothing new except that we used to call it just being proud of being American--since America was by definition a nation of mostly WHITE immigrants (white supremacy was always a thing but imo the new white nationalism is figuring itself out rather differently. Nonsense. There's quite a bit of censorship here, at least if you consider bans as censorship. And policies aren't clearly enforced. One day I'll see people doxing like crazy and nothing happens. On another, again, PUBLIC info is being shared, petitions prepared and so forth, and yet we all get bant for "participating in a R A I D thread."

And from what I know the moderation on 8/pol/ is way worse, Sup Forums may ban you for posting someone's info but they won't ban you for going against the grain. All I'm saying is there's nothing that 8/pol/ has that makes it a better alternative to 4/pol/. It's a slower board, the user base is pretty much the same, Sup Forums is more reliable. has more web support and has a larger bandwidth. Only contrarians use the site.

As a veteran on both, I'd like to chip in.

8 is more rigid in its ideology, a place to discuss proactive courses of action.

4 is more like a battleground of ideologies, a place to argue.

4 is better for shitposting, honing your arguing skills, for questioning your views. More fun, in its own way. 4 also has way more posters, so any change you make here will resonate through more people in the community.

8 is better for drafting propaganda, discussing possible strategies, creating consensus. A place for serious discussion. 8, however, has more dedicated people, so any change you make there will resonate for a longer time in the community.

There need not be animosity between the 'chans, as long as you remember that they serve different purposes and are intended for different crowds. Indeed, I feel a lot of the division between 4 and 8 may be due to outside forces trying to D&C - it's just so fake!
