What's your honest opinion of guinness?

...

Bredy gud

begone kuffar

I have literally never had it.
Should I try it? I imagine it'd be a pretty average macrobrew import.

Never tried it

I like it. Tasty becase of all the sugar. I drink it when im out and dont want to get too drunk but still seem like in partying hard

too light, but good summer drink

...

not good

favorite lite beer desu

I like it sometimes.
Not a HUGE fan though

...

it's ok
there are better stouts though

shit tier

La puedes encontrar muy fácil, en cualquier super grande o que este en una área medio nice.

It's a pretty decent beer and I'd consider it the standard for stout, personally I don't bother much with trying a lot of beers so it is my default when I'm in the mood for something in that style and for that I find it plenty enjoyable.

It's pretty shit. That it's good or somehow "Irish" is just bullshit peddled by big (and often multinational) companies because it's good business. It's a meme. Sure it might have been decent and very Irish 150 years ago, but for the present it relies on the general meme of it being good quality and "genuine", also in the MUHing of both Irish and Irish diaspora.

>medio nice
do mexicans speak spanglish in real life as well?

It's good, not my favorite, but above average.

this exactly.

Decent for a macro, often the best option at a bar without a good craft selection. Even Murphy's is better though, not to mention all the craft examples of the style that blow it out of the water.

Inferior to Southwark stout, superior to Coopers stout.

tend to agree with this
I like it but there are usually better options

People are discussing thick guiness draught, not the shitty watery regular stout thing they make. Southwark > Coopers > Guiness in that regard for macrobrews

As for my opinion of actual Guiness: it's the milkshake of beers, mostly in a good way

Isn't Guinness Draught the normal one you can get on tap here?

Svagdricka with alcohol.
Nothing special.

I have literally never had it.
Should I try it? I imagine it'd be a pretty average macrobrew import.

One of the only beers that doesn't taste like rotten piss to be honest.
I mean, I know it's not a beer, but you get the idea.

not really nice desu

the west indies guinness they sell in off licences is gorgeous though

of course it's a beer

I heard from someone that it isn't so I just didn't wanna make an ass of myself desu.

utter shite
nobody drinks it here
it's not even considered a real beer here, there is not a single place on the package that says "beer"

some people like to sound smart by saying 'nuh uh it's a stout' failing to realise stout is a type of beer

yes, that's usually made at west end though and it's noticeably different even to me (my palate is shit even after trying like a thousand different beers). you can buy guinness draught imported in cans in stores for a pretty decent price though. it's the ~4% one. The "extra" stout is something like 5-6%

Meme beer. Real one from Dublin is fucking expensive, but frequently goes on lower price. A bottle goes perfectly with a decent dinner, but no more than that.

it's okay

I usually just dump part of it into another stout or porter to give it nitrogen

Not bad, but I'm not into this kind of beer.

I only like beers that are opaque

>Guinness
>beer flavoured alcohol drink
> artificial "Guinness' aroma extract" flavouring

This is not Guinness, dude.

In terms of taste it's alright. I don't drink much stout anyway though, I prefer larger. In terms of being an Irish cultural symbol then I think it's overrated. Harp is the true king of Irish drinks

It's ok, but I like other darks beers more

Why should one drink an Irish lager piss, when you can take a decent Czech or German one?

Name me a German or Czech macrobrew that trumps Harp

Budweiser Budvar.

I fucking love it.
Reminds of the times I used to go almost every weekend to a local Irish Pub and get drunk with my ex gf by drinking whole pitchers of Guinness while listening to live Irish folk rock music. Most comfy experiences ever desu.

Righto, I really only drink it at the Elephant. I am pretty sure the only Guinness tins I've ever had are draught, though I wouldn't know whether they were imported or brewed under license. Don't care enough to bother checking myself to see if I can tell the difference, honestly.

It's pretty good, it's my go to mainstream beer if I'm not buying a craft.

It's great if you're only having one-pint, it's pretty filling. I love Kilkenny a lot more though, that along with John Smith and Old Speckled Hen were the only thing I kept drinking at pubs when I visited the senpai in UK last Christmas

It's like drinking bread.

How could you dislike it.

Now, if I had options, I'm pretty sure Guinness would be near the bottom of the list. But hey, at least it's better than Budweiser or other shitty pilsners.

it has sugar?
>dropped

Never like beverage to begin with, but I heard it's good.

It's the only fucking mainstream stout. I wish there were more.

>tfw dual citizenship literal Irish

I unironically drink this daily.
I might have a problem.

Overrated as fuck.

This.
Nigerian Guinness best Guinness

It's not great, but it's a passable stout that has no strong flavors. I probably wouldn't drink it if not for the fact that my father drank it and because I lived in BOISTON and every pub I went into had it in an era when the best beer you could get at a pub was either Guinness or whatever mediocre swill Sam Adams pushed out. So when my Irish co-workers always bought it, and I didn't care, I bought it too.

uma delicia

Good light beer for consumption
You have to drink it in 3 sips

Dogshit, tastes like fucking coffee

I like to drink it with a meal; especially the extra cold version.

But I prefer the Superior Brains of Cardiff, or Ffelinfoal ale.

I 'd love to have a non-alcoholic replacement of it.
