Yes. West Virginia, Oklahoma and Indiana. Those are all actually marginally better in quality than deep Southern states like Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi in quality of life, but the latter isn't as depressing as the former as those States were always shit.

It's the reality of rustbelt states. Ohio, Pennsylvania and Illinois are all states that are top 10 in population, but facing 0 growth with aging populations.
