the best driver of the late 80s/early 90s was Gerhard Berger

Reminder

...

Best defensive driver, yes

...

Fuck Prost. He was a coward and a cuck

218 days until Kimi's next win a Spa

At least he's still breathing

Yes
Best driver ever in formula 1 was master Jim Clark, genius behind wheel always going 100% and so smooth driver

>another year of Gimi
NOO.jpg

he will stay for 2019

What's the most elite F1 nation, /f1/?

>he used to befriend a man just to shag his wife
Based Prost.

In this order
>Germany
>UK
>Brazil
>Finland (I guess?)

>reminder that people unironically thought Williams would give a race seat to an effectively one armed driver

It was lame that he died in an F2 race.

1. GB
2. Germany
3. Italy
4. France
5. Brazil

I'm glad he didn't get it. He was great before but he messed up by going rallying.

We have 3 Champions and 8 Championships, how are we worse than France and fucking Italy?

Austria? Jochen Rindt
Sweden? Ronnie Peterson

You dont have any teams

you keep trying to kill the teams and drivers on their way to the track

unmatched engineering skills also

Of course, also Farina and Ascari.

>massive exposed asshole

The Bahamian's favorite car ever.

>try play daytona road coarse on PC2 online
>everyone is an even bigger cunt than usual

why bother

Was this the most F1-looking Indycar during the 1990's?

Anyone had a go with F1 drivers' pics on the Google Arts and Culture app?

France:
1 World Champion (Prost)
12 other race winning drivers (Laffite, Arnoux, Pironi, Tambay, Trintignant, Depailler, Jabouille, Cevert, Beltoise, Panis, Alesi)
2 Race winning teams (Renault, Ligier)
5 Classic tracks (Le Mans, Reims, Rouen, Magny Cours, Paul Ricard)

Brazil:
3 World Champions (Fittipaldi, Piquet, Senna)
3 other race winning drivers (Massa, Barrichello, Pace)
0 Classic teams
1 Classic track (Interlagos)

>Renault
Based in Enstone m8

>Magny Cours
>Classic

Wow, 12 bums literal whos compared to Massa and Barrichello. Anyway, I didn't know that scuderias were part of the rating, so I understand why France is higher.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1979_French_Grand_Prix

>compared to Massa and Barrichello

LMAO they're the two biggest cucks F1 have ever seen.

>Reims
>a fucking triangle

Cool, but Renault in modern F1 is literally benetton 2.0

France:
1 World Champion (Prost)
12 other race winning drivers (Laffite, Arnoux, Pironi, Tambay, Trintignant, Depailler, Jabouille, Cevert, Beltoise, Panis, Alesi)

2 Race winning teams (Renault, Ligier)
5 Classic tracks (Le Mans, Reims, Rouen, Magny Cours, Paul Ricard)

Italy:
2 World Champions (Farina, Ascari)
10 other race winning drivers (Alboreto, Fisichella, Patrese, Trulli, De Cesaris, De Angelis, Nannini, Baghetti, Brambilla, Bandini, Scarfiotti, Taruffi, Musso)
0 Current Drivers
4 Race winning teams (Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Benetton (1996-2001))

Brazil:

0 Current Drivers
0 Race winning teams
1 Classic track (Interlagos)

Ultra fast track in a time when cars delivered fucking amazing wheel to wheel racing

You know what mate, that's my shitty reading comprehension and my bad. Classic Renault was definitely a race-winning team and I was being a pedantic cunt and talking about current teams

He said
>winning race teams

Just admit you were wrong and stop being a little bitch about it.

>De Cesaris
Never won a race.

I know mate, I saw it and I was wrong af

Good lad.

GUYZ I MISS BENETTON

>other race winning drivers
>Current drivers
Those are both irrelevant datas desu, winning a GP or two does not makes you a big deal in F1 history. Show us which country has (have?) won more GPs and which of those drivers that won a GP were vice champion.

Same desu, the liveries were 90s AF.
I miss Williams when they were sponsored by Canon, too

>cherry picking stats

1994 Benetton is my all time fav

Why do you separate by "winning drivers" instead of runner ups?
Barrichello and Massa are runner ups

Because nobody cares about losers.

>gimi in f1 in 2019

How would you feel?

Comfy.

The same for everybody

I'm very happy

Ok, Italy has Alboreto and Patrese, who were also runner ups. France has Pironi. What's your point?

>winning a race is not important
If you win a single race, you are instantly added to history books. In 68 years only 33 drivers have won the WDC, out of literally thousands that have tried and failed. Winning a single race is the second best thing after that.

my mistake

Stayed in the calendar for almost 20 years.

The only reason anyone remembers Massa and Barrichello is because they were a) betas to pretty mediatic drivers (Schumacher and Alonso), and b) they were recent. In a few years nobody is gonna give a shit about them.

Massa lost a championship by 1 point
Barrichello was cucked but he was a runner up two times

I dindu said it isn't important to win a race, I'm saying that you put "winning a GP" as a parameter, but not the number o runners up. Being the vice champion is much more important than winning a random race here and there.

have they released the season review yet? its usually like 2 hours long

Lads I think my gf might be pregnant. Should i flee to mexico or an hero?

Pretty sure sheep can't get pregnant by humans, m8.
It was probably some other sheep that knocked her up.
Sorry.

>Berger
>Best

alesi was better

>this flag
>not liking a burger

Nice proxy

Fucking top notch post

be thankful you had the opportunity to procreate before you died

Get my bags.

Alesi was better than Berger, but Alesi was really overrated, both of them were desu.

alesi moved to the wrong team, he had the choice between ferrari and williams and chose ferrari.

is the baby yours?

In Late 95/Early 96 Schumi tested Alesi's Ferrari just as it had been exactly at the end of the year. He went much faster than Alesi or Berger had, and when he got out of the car, he said that "He'd have won the Championship much easier in this than his Benetton."

He did have a title winning car at the end, but he just wasn't good enough. It was wrong to move to Ferrari, but that was his dream. I don't know if he'd have the head or speed to beat Prost, or Mansell.

That's just a 1995/1996 McLaren

him and berger are those drivers that fans have a soft spot for. ill never forget watching them both in the ferrari power sliding round monaco.
ill also never forget when they crashed into each other at monza.

a 95 mclaren squashed a little.

>he said that "He'd have won the Championship much easier in this than his Benetton
Yeah, he never said that. He said that car could be a championship winning car. I mean, you're not gonna join Ferrari and immediately say their latest car is a shitmobile. "Yeah, s-sure guys, Ferrari is g-great, they just need a little push"

Obviously Schumacher was faster than Berger and Alesi, but I doubt he could have won shit in those cars. In the end, it was only years after the Schumacher-Byrne-Brawn-Todt combination had been working together developing a car that they managed to win. The 96 car was shit, the 97 and 98 cars were still inferior to the Williams and McLaren respectively.

Two alternatives:
A)
>Move to Williams to partner Patrese in 91 (since Mansell had retired but returned just because Frank was unable to find any decent driver available)
>Win in 92 and then get sacked or cucked because of Prost and later Senna coming to Williams.

B)
>Move to Williams to partner Mansell in 91.
>Probably get cucked by Mansell in 92 and then get sacked or cucked because of Prost and later Senna coming to Williams.

>/f1/ debating which driver was the best at driving
>/f1/ not debating which driver had the largest benis

You've changed /f1/

>He never said that

Barnard would have really no reason to lie at this point. Schumi without a doubt would have liked the way the V12 in terms of driveability.

youtu.be/sJiJBSYNX48?t=38m3s

how does motorsport manager compare to the old f1 manager games? is it as in depth?

>Wagner High Strength Zinc

Gracie trying to boost her test.

Also,
>Gracie takes Wagner fish oil 1000
>I take Wagner fish oil 3000
>tfw more fish oil
>she keeps hers on the bench to go rancid
>I keep mine in the freezer
>tfw smarter than a stupid bimbo

Brazil also has a crapton of Indycar drivers.

How about Pocono?

Not the same thing, m80.

>a fucking triangle
>the tricky triangle

Lads I miss Manor. I'm sure they were building a point scoring car and I would much rather have them than Sauber. Also their liveries were pretty fucking nice.

Nothing will ever top GPW/GPM2 for me, but MM is nice in its own way. It's a bit more arcadey and imo easier because there's less shit to worry about and how shitty your team is isn't a factor in what you can do, only funds.

I miss them too, they were on their way to becoming what Sauber once was. If I remember correctly when Manor went bankrupt someone tried to buy it, who was it?

Please stop posting pictures of me

I saw this yesterday, made me sad.

youtube.com/watch?v=gvaLuxdja7Q

>bidding on ebay for super rare F1 autograph
>only bidder for 2 days, think it's in the bag
>within the last hour 5 different people come in and start bidding, basically no chance now
I am sad

Are you one of those fuckwits who gets in to bidding contests on things days before an auction ends, which only serves to increase the price for everyone interested?

>tfw this will never happen with any wag

Would be pretty funny

>If I remember correctly when Manor went bankrupt someone tried to buy it, who was it?
Yeah I found a rogue tenner down the side of the settee

What would've happened in 1999 if Ferrari hired this guy at the beginning of the season and Schumacher still crashed at Silverstone ?

...

>not waiting until the last few seconds to bid

Did Frank walk her down the aisle?

2 savage 4 me

Who is this succubus?

>wearing white
Is she taking the piss?
