Opinions are what they are. I rarely view people as composites of multiple people, but i suppose i can see what you're saying. My issue is less with people who share similarities with others, and more with the people where i seriously suspect that they're someone i've spoken to before.
I dislike being lied to about certain things, and i really dislike it if people use information i don't think they have to try and manipulate my opinion of them.

Well, let's just use a hypothetical then to explain what i mean. Let's say that someone i knew for a while seriously messed up and burned a bunch of friendships and "leave". They then return, posing as a new poster, and for argument's sake, let's just say they've very good at this and nobody suspects they're their previous persona.
This "new person" now knows a huge amount about the people in the community, and can game that knowledge to get in close to just about every again fairly easily. It's essentially like replaying a game after beating it. You already know where things are, and you can leverage that knowledge to make things far easier and more advantageous to you.

o i get what you mean, thats dumb to do and i can understand your suspicions of people and be cautious towards them, i tell people that want to try to get close to me or anything of that sort that they shouldnt because they dont know if i might have a bad intention or ill end up doing something bad, they should not rush things and wait it out before you try pushing it, of course im not going to do anything bad to anyone but its the potential to do damage people should worry about rather than will this person leak private info or not so i dont get close to anyone because of that

Yeah, i find time will make my paranoia relax quite a bit. When someone i don't know starts acting friendly with me, it instantly makes me put up walls and get very prickly.
Which can be a little awkward because there's a particular circumstance that i don't fault people for but would look similar to the above situation to me. I've had it happen too. I person joined the community and was immediately very friendly with me, which obviously put me off. Turns out they were just a hardcore lurker and had been reading the threads for months without posting, which stupidly enough is something i can relate to.
Oh well, time for me to leave for work. Bye.
