I like ford and wanted to get another f150 but, to get everything I wanted on one I'd have to have gotten a lariat. Too rich for my blood.

My grandfather had a 1975 ford f150 long bed brown beige two tone. Dinged to hell because it was his work truck but otherwise rust free since it was garage kept all 35 years he had it. Engine was shit but you can replace those easily.

We're Californian so my family traded it in for peanuts because it wasn't worth anything, who would want a truck like that?

I've kept the 1993 f150 my dad bought me when I graduated highschool in 2005. I still drive it to work every day, but I have another modern family car.

How do you know it does not make him money? If the guy builds fences for living and doesn't want to pay delivery costs for building materials then it makes/saves him money, transporting tools to build the fence (this is just 1 of many examples).

It can be also be written off during tax season as well.

I never stated that Ford built the motor, however they were put in Ford trucks. If Ford had left the 6.0 alone like International wanted them to do then it wouldn't have been too bad of a motor to get the rep it got.

Any of the big 3s can have flaws. They all have their positives and negatives. I just wish they would stop the manufacturing of these vehicles outside of the US and Canada. What if all the manufacturing goes abroad, who will buy these vehicles, has anyone ever thought about that? A good economy should be based off what it can produce and manufacturing automobiles is especially one of them.
