Do Marvel even try to compete at this point?
That makes up for the other 2 hours and 55 minutes being an absolute shitshow.
Yes
Why didn't the Russian guy burn Martha alive when it's obvious a superhero is fucking up all of his men? Lex is going to kill you anyway if Martha doesn't die.
>Do marvel even try
no. If it prints money, just repaint and repeat
>that music
Honestly, with Hans Zimmer gone I fear that DCEU won't be the same.
I still don't understand the wankery over this scene other than "DUDE BATMAN IS BRUTAL LMAO"
Its shot like ass, spatial editing is all over the place, you can barely tell what the fuck is going on
>armour can withstand point blank pistol shots
>gets pierced by a knife
This was easily my favorite scene of BVS and makes me want a solo Batman movie so bad. Batman Batmand so good.
It really feels like this was the Batman theme he wanted all along, instead of the one he made for Nolan.
t. blind person
it really doesn't cut excessively. It's not as good as some action movies, but it's better than a lot too.
Nah fuck art, manlets, cuts and quips all day long bby
Who the fuck refers to their mom using her first name?
This fucking shitty writing, I swear.
so he has a money change if batman comes to kill him
Listen I fucking hate BvS, but its one of the most competently shot scenes in that movie.
Hans Zimmer didn't do the batman themes in BvS, that was Junkie XL
same guy here and i rewatched it. He actually only does about one move per cut, which is pretty lazy. Sometimes there are even multiple cuts for one move.
The dawn of kino
>this is what marvelets actually believe
no wonder why they like the MCU
This scene would have 90% more cuts if it was in a Marlel movie
Snyderhaters roasted
damn when i saw this in theater, the exact moment i saw this image i knew this movie was different
BvS - The fall and rise of the American spirit.
[nightmare intensifies]
Junkie XL is a beast, his Fury Road score was pure audiokino.
Well he's definitely on board for JL. He did the cover for Come Together for JL trailer.
only the head you moron.
I love that he's called "the" Superman throughout the movie. It speaks volumes about the world they're in.
Is this a shop? No way something that lazy passed QA.
Does the real version look this bad?
It's from the trailer, the entire thing looks like shit
oh it's real. and most of the movie including spiderman is entirely cgi.
it's safe to say marvel make so much money now, they don't even try anymore.
...
Ben Affleck nails Bruce Wayne and Batman.
am I right thinking those beings are the same from the Justice League trailer?
Was Batman clairvoyant in BvS?
It's actually a vision from the future
That's a DAMN good cover. too.
He was the guitar freak in Fury Road, wasn't he?
WAIT!!!1 Is that Bam Margera at 1:43? Haven't spotted him in cinema.
Yes it does
What if that's not what he said?
Gauntlets too, at the very least. Also, he got stabbed right there at an articulation point, where whatever other body armor he does have would be weaker.
It's one of the most comic book type things that Zack did.
Jesus Christ.
They don't really have to try considering how shit their competition is.
He really does. I am extremely happy with him as Bruce.
What font is that?
if Superman had to save his boss, he would say Perry White. Saying "my boss" either tells you nothing or would give away your secret identity. Superman gave her name because he expected Batman to be able to look her up and find her someway.
Also he says Kent but Batman's foot tightens on his throats when he gets triggered.
friendly reminder that Zack Snyder did the impossible. Not only did he dislodge Christopher Reeve from his perch but he actually made Superman a genuinely good character
Get in bro, we're making kino.
I think we've got a punchline coming.
Go watch the scene again and watch Clark's face every time Bruce says Martha.
I don't Clark said Martha at all. Bats just heard what his fucked up noggin wanted to hear.
There is only one Superman, as pictured.
Anyone have the one that says "Mankind is introduced to capekino"?
The only reason Snyder's efforts look marginally better is because he hides everything in darkness.
Reeve was so damn good. Want to see something funny? I'm pretty sure Miller's channeling his spirit during this scene,
Never without it.
Which Marvel character or franchise would you like Snyder to direct?
I think a Hulk movie from him would be pretty cool
Hulk or Thor.
Or Hulk AND Thor
Snyder was born to direct a Batman movie yet he was responsible for Superman, a superhero who he doesn't even like nor fits the style of his movies.
Somebody on their team like Superman an awful lot. There's too much understanding of what sort of role he fills in the DC universe for them not to like him.
Yeah but will he able pull something like this?
youtube.com
I hope so. I honestly have no idea how much they collaborated, but it's so seamless, I'd say quite a bit.
Moonknight
Vs Barracuda or maybe the Slavers arc. Stand-alone and not related to the MCU bullshit.
We all agree that BvS soundtrack > MCU right? Notice I don't say MCU soundtrack but the entire MCU
Besides the theme of the Winter Soldier in Captain 2 I can't really recall any OST for the MCU.
It's not The Raid or fucking John Wick but it is competently shot and cut.
BvS is so underrated it's not even funny
Not even the Avengers theme?
>Manchildren who read comics written by manchildren actually defend no-kill rules, despite them just being a way to keep rogue's galleries around and not need to pull out bullshit resurrections for characters like the Riddler
Maybe its me being musically illiterate but no, I can recall a theme being played over and over again in these movies but I can't remember it.
youtube.com
Greatest Joker theme.
I haven't seen a no-kill rule in effect in the DCEU yet, and I'm betting it will continue to happen circumstantially.
One thing people forget that's a damn fine defense of the no-kill rule is that it's the compromise they have to make to even operate, since they're not officially a policing body.
It's fucking fantastic as a Lex theme. All that staccato percussion mimicking a clockwork.
>normie who has never picked up a Batman book thinks the no kill rule has any weight on the actual quality of the stories
lmao
Man Suicide Squad sucked. Just give Snyder full creative control of the DCEU. He knows his shit.
This movie deserves a 6/10 on the OST and action alone, even Doomsday wasn't that bad on the big screen
He said "save Martha". Because Martha was going to die.
Clark's going to come back thinking Bruce is some kind of psychic. That's all I'm saying.
It deserved Oscar noms for OST and visual effects. Also a cinematography nod because Larry Fong killed it. It was very absurd seeing it rejected in special effects but Dr Strange nominated for its lackluster effects.
SS sucked ass because Warner Bros suck dick and they would rather trust test audience instead of a director like Ayer. Probably his cut wasn't anywhere near as bad the theatrical release with the 'please make it look like GOTG' reshoots.
I think he might

>It deserved Oscar noms for OST
This was my biggest surprise. Say what you will about the flaws of BvS but the fucking OST was amazing.
Who won OST? Fucking Academy hacks giving SS an oscar to make it up to Snydra. They ruined the DCEU, them and the fucking critics
I am not an expert on flamethrowers but should shooting it make it explode immediately?
>That top image
>Nutted_and_she_still_sucking.jpg
>Nothing good since The Dark Knight Rises
>pay homage to the best spiderman movie
>ruin it with lolnvm Ironmanlet saves the day anyway
Capeshit is all that
Nolan's Batman is kino
Okay when he started to machine gun people and that truck blew up are those badguys still alive? I mean doesn't he have some sort of no-kill clause?
...
is that sarcasm or what? genuinely not sure. Reeve was absolutely amazing and totally nailed the clarke vs kal el dichotomy
"Tell me Alfred. 20 years in Gotham. How many good men did we meet? How many stayed that way?"
Needless to say, BvS Batman is someone that has seen some shit and no longer believes the ideals that made him Batman.
He returns to his older self after Superman's sacrifice
you didn't watch the movie, did you ?
Daredevil
Amazing, first time I see this scene.
Why does the gun sounds like BRRT and not pew pew? It might be like non-lethal bullets.
La La Land.
Didn't even bother nominating BvS. I've listened to everything nominated and nothing came close to the BvS score. Fuck them.
Also Rogue One and Dr Strange for visual effects but not BvS? Ok I will never not be butthurt about that.
Source on that Snow White?
it's from rondo duo apparently
The real Superman wouldn't get btfo by a horse.
Warcraft deserved a nomination for the mo-cap alone for visual effects. The green screen wasn't any worse than MCU movies anyway.
