Azor Jon

Who was actually in the wrong here?

Everyone except radmure desu

Modern day Isaac Hempstead Wright

When Barristan resigned, do you think he could've killed the rest of the Kingsguard?

I think he would've gotten through maybe 3 of them before the worthless hordes started stabbing everyone and him being one of them.

The kingsguard? Yes. Clegane? Not sure

In magical world where fighting skill is an immunity to damage, yes
Not the effect they would've gone for given the context though

Clegane, really? The guy who got his shit pushed in by Oberwyn?

I think Barristan could go toe to toe with Dayne

>not suspending your mind

This is unironically completely correct. Edmure is the only one that had absolutely no reason to deserve the shit that went down and is pretty much completely stuck in the middle here. The show portrayed him as a coward but he's honestly just a really based lord. He'll roll out and defend his people or let the small folk in the walls. It's not always smart, but he's a based bro.

At least he got to fuck Roslin Frey.

No, the Clegane who hasn't had his shit pushed in by anyone. The one that Jaime Lannister (one of the greatest fighters of all time in his own right) said was clearly the better fighter of the Clegane brothers.

Sandor Clegane aka The Hound. He was there when Selmy got fired

You mean the Clegane that lost to a woman, the same woman Jaime beat up while cuffed?

Ok.

He's an absolute idiot, a shit commander who grew up idolizing two other idiots like Cat and his father and was so frail he went as far as going full "notice me senpai" for his underaged nephew while completely undermining his campaign
He's still based and a bro but he's an idiot, that's part of the Radmure character charm

That's stupid ass DABID changing the story for those hipster fuckers in that bar we all hate in that webm.

I mean I've read the books and seen the TV show, I'm going off the TV show

Well, if a bunch of random rich guys in masks that have never had to fight for anything can wreck Barristan I think the Kingsguard would've pushed his fucking shit in.

kek that's true, I see your point now.

Azor Jaqen

Why did Rhaegar name both his sons Aegon?

Where did this meme start? The meme that Barristan is supposed to be able to fight off a dozen men at once? That's impossible for anyone. Doesn't matter how skilled you are.

Jaqen H'ghar, born in the free city of Lorath, was a Lorathi criminal who later emigrated to Braavos to become a Faceless Men. After getting the Braavos citizenship, he began the training in the House of Black and White.

Jaqen H'ghar is Lorathi-Braavosi former criminal turned Faceless Men.

But why was Jaqen a criminal?
Why did he emigrated to Braavos?
Why did he became a member of the Faceless Men?
Does Jaqen still have relatives? Other H'ghar brothers and sisters?
Does Jaqen H'ghar work-out? Hobbies?

Little girls can fight grown men in armor. One of the greatest swordsman in history turned out to be a duel wielder. If GoT is going full anime sure, Ser Barry of all people deserves to be an invincible sword master

Yeah btw, will Jaqen H'ghar return in season 7? He and Arya have unfinished business.

>"She's prettier than I dared hope." Edmure raised a hand before she could speak. "I know there are more important things, spare me the sermon, septa."
i forgot how comfy that chapter before the RW was

Desu even though it was stupid, wasn't the Hound sick or something during the fight? But yeah, Brienne gets wanked hard by the show.

CP.

Immigrant ban.

Identity crisis.

His wife's son.

Collecting rare faces.

Face it, Dungeons & Dragons are never going to bring him up again

He would've carved them into thousand pieces. He would've probably won anyone in the seven kingdoms and beyond. Then we made him die worthlessly to some random henchman #427 because we prefer writing fanfic about Missandei and Sir Dickless.

Be prepared to get massively dissapointed in the upcoming season.

Haha kek, thanks for for answering my questions.

Also congratulations, heres a (you) and hopefully some dubs.

I'm proud of you user.

Rate the new promo, /got/

>CP
What does that mean?

>Immigration ban
He was born in the free city of Lorath and he emigrated to Braavos, which he succesfully does and gets a Braavosi citizenship as a result.

hi

Hello there

Anyone else looking forward to the hound and the brotherhood? I know Thoros and based Beric will die but I'm just glad they are still alive and honestly getting more face time then the books.

But where do you think the Hound will go after surviving the battle beyond the wall? How will he react being reunited with Kingslanding characters?

>after surviving the battle beyond the wall?
wot

>being this new

Child porn

I'm just meming user

Thank you, and may your digits prosper like THESE dubs

I was about to say MAYBE Jaime on a good day, or the Hound in full plate could give him a good fight, but then i remembered both were made to job in this show. To be fair, it's hard to tell if Jaime was nerfed or they just buffed Eddard.

I guess there's always the fookin' legend. Barry is a knight, after all.

I-i didn't know, I'm sorry.

welcome xD

>they just buffed Eddard.
this is pretty clearly the case since jaime is still meant to be pretty high-tier in the show
ned's not meant to be particularly skilled or physically imposing in the books especially compared to jaime even cat thinks that jaime looks like a beast of a man and thinks about ned as short and plain

Eh. If it were anyone but the actual showrunners I might be intrigued, but I just don't trust them to not fuck it up. Latest promos seem to emphasise teams Rob, Cersei and Khaleesi forming up so I've a bad feeling the Brotherhood's gonna amount to a contrivance for him to fight under Khaleesi's banner

>survival

Making some serious assumptions there bruv. Cleganebowl isn't IMPOSSIBLE yet

>reunited

How d'you think, being grumpy he can't punch bitches with no excuse

It's fine senpai, we were all new once

Fair enough. Actually-it's been a while, how far have they wanked Bronn? In the books doesn't he fuck off to retire and mary Lollys? Can't seem to remember him being the renaissance man of Westoros who isn't afraid of taking on the Hound

Would Lorne Malvo make a good Faceless Men?

Well I have been posting on Sup Forums since December 2014 so......

He'd do alright, yeah. Though not as well as Brendan "JUST" Fraser

And yet, my point still stands

Thoros Beric and Sandro go with Jon Tormund Jorah Gendry and others to catch a wight.

Yes you're right, I gonna keep my mouth
closed. Again thank you desu senpai.

wot

Also the actors who play them are reversed in their skill. Seen Been has experience with swordplay from LoTR and Nikolai is actually really shit at even choreographed fights. Most not well known actors in the show were chosen for their skill with weapons. Oberyns actor was chosen because he knew what he was doing with his spear.

Yeah but when is that fat fuck going to release the book?!

Kek, and inadvertantly made a bunch of show newfags think Oberyn's the Jaimie Lannister of spearfighting. At least we can agree none of them are as bad as the Sneks.

He's going to die midway through a gratuitous description about honey-glazed lamb racks next to a moss pate or something

will we see cordy as young lyanna again?

I respect that he cares about continuity and takes his time because of that, but he should really not write in fucking dos.
He should have a modern operating system with several different programs to help him keep track of things.
A good writing program, a program with maps and pins to keep track of where everyone is, an excel document with population census, army sizes and resources.

Would Euron Greyjoy make a good Faceless Men?

What if the mountain stopped at this point and Oberyns life was spared?

Stupid idea by Dabide to kill off male characters for Grilll Power

during the winterfell fight the giant should've had a bow desu

shield and giant club

...

Nah that think the only flashback this season is with Raegar so I think they will use older ugly Lyannna

Can Bran affect the past or can he only make the past act the way it already happened?

>literally just walking actors
>trailer
what did they mean by this

Who would teach Lorne Malvo to be a Faceless Men? The Kindly Man?
Also would Malvo try to talk with the Waif?

He's kinda old desu, he probably just kept writing the way he did years ago and never stopped out of momentum

Everyone would share awkward looks and a tumbleweed would appear out of nowhere. Later, the Mountain would rape someone who whispers he's going soft behind his back.

Can't have Gough stomping the setting yet, none of Khaleesi's pussy dragons are anywhere near Kalameet-tier

Everyone's going on a personal journey as well as a physical one to the iron throne. It's symbolic pottery or some shit

Who even knows? They're pulling time shenanigans out of their ass, all bets are off

The north is weird, how did this cutiepie turn into a Goblin?

That's possibly the most retarded question I've seen this week. If he alters the past, how could it be perceived as anything else as something that has already happened? Whatever happened, happened either with or without Bran's interference.

?
You think it's retarded to wonder what kind of time travel they go with when fiction treats it in very different ways all the time? Have you never seen time travel in fiction before?
I was wondering if it was just the self consistency principle or something else.

Friendly reminder that Jon Snow is now categorically a deserter of the Night's Watch, the penalty for which is death. Even the most dedicated Starkfags and Jontards cannot dispute this with coherent logic.

They had already signed the paperwork for his watch being over once he died.
His watch is over.
This is known.

Could someone post the "Iceberg Tier"- meme pic with the game of thrones fan theories?

>Actually-it's been a while, how far have they wanked Bronn?
Bronn is an interesting case. The fight he's most famous for in the Eyrie is against an old knight who was easy to tire out. So based on that alone he's not the best.

However, he's also shown to be really into prep time; spending hours watching other knights train at the Red Keep while training in private so they can't get a read on him. While being perfectly honest with Tyrion, Bronn admits that with a bit of luck he might be able to kill the Mountain, so by his own assessment he is pretty good.

In short, the show has wanked him quite a bit, but that's less because Bronn is untalented and more because Bronn prefers to avoid fighting guys who aren't sixty years old.

Is Tormund proof that gingers are the master race? This guy is so handsome.

Disclaimer: I am NOT gay

>is still alive
hmm sounds like he is still beholden to his vows as the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch.

They made the death vow when he died, and signed the paperwork for it, it nullified the first vow and ends his watch.

>I am NOT gay
Me neither. I hate faggots. I'm 100% heterosexual who just happens to think penises are aesthetically fantastic and they taste of nectar.

I'm not sure if this line is in the books, but Brienne makes a good point about Jamie after they get captured, about how all her life she'd been hearing how amazing Jamie is, but she isn't impressed. Yeah she's just busting his balls, he was chained, but it's a valid point - that people like to overpraise a famous name.

For example, what the fuck has Barristan done that makes him the greatest living swordsman? Praise from Jamie Lannister. He has participated in various wars throughout the years, performed great at tourneys (unhorsing famous knights), was a member of Aerys' kingsguard (who people like to say was "legendary" even though Joffrey's kingsguard is almost just as good).

Barristan is mostly a "legendary" tourney knight. He does not have a massive kill list. Any of the top Ironborn would mop the floor with his gay ass.

What went so so wrong?

>tfw they didn't cast the Turkish actress as adult Lyanna

Friendly reminder that the show is plebbit fan service. Balon Greyjoy was not murdered by his brother Euron, but by the jealous Storm God.

>Any of the top Ironborn would mop the floor with his gay ass.
Ironborn aren't exactly proven fighters

I mean, Ironborn vs a fishing village I think the odds are slightly in favor of the ironborn, but other than that, eh

Why didn't the Giant just charge Ramsey's line and break a gap in the shield formation so the men could escape?

Victarion
Dagmer
Andrik the Unsmiling
possibly Harras Harlaw and Nute the Barber as honorable mentions

In the books Brienne reflects on how she only beat Jaime because he was chained up after rotting in a dungeon for a year. She's under the impression that in his prime, he may well have actually have been GOAT.

Of course, take that with a grain of salt, since Brienne herself is only good, not great. Jaime could beat her, but so could some random faceless men outside the inn at the crossroads.

As for the Ironborn, we don't really know how any of them stack up. Theon was a proven fighter before getting flayed within an inch of his life, and Victarion slaps knights around with his retard strength, but we have no indication that the rest are particularly great.

Because the bolton shield wall infantry have super human speed and were able to flank better than cavalry.

>Reminder that Jon's real name is Aegon
>Fucking Aegon
Kill me

>t. showfag

Wait, why the fuck did Rhaegar name both his sons Aegon? Shitty writing.

>other idiots
>his father
where did you get this idea from

JonCon btfo

Riddle me this. How come we can see Cersi's breathe. Is she a White walker or is the iron throne room very cold because of the approaching night king.

>showfag
>posting in Sup Forums

Victarion is a badass reaver, he's been fighting all his life, or rather, since Balon took over from his father. We can assume Dagmer has also been doing actual fighting and killing all of his life.

We see Victarion BTFO anyone who dares fight him on the shields, and later learn that Harras Harlaw pretty much did the same thing, though we don't see it first hand. I admit Andrik is kind of a fallacy under this line of argument, because we only have Victarion's impression of him to go by. Regardless Andrik is a big guy, bigger than Victarion, so if it's "retard strength" that makes Victarion so formidable (it's not just that, it's a lifetime of actual fighting and killing) then Andrik has more.

Sauce?

he was like newborn when ned arrived.
Why would they both say, lets name him Aegon, but I'll call him Jon forever?
His real name is Jon

this trailer removes all excitement from dany story arc until she gets to that grand hall she is in

did they forget the season ended with her on a boat?

>what the fuck has Barristan done that makes him the greatest living swordsman?
Duskendale, nigga

If Ned called him Aegon it would be pretty obvious he was a Targaryen
????

Retard

depends what season it was in

Bravery. He didn't slay dozens of men in single combat, did he? I skip calorisi chapters so if he talked about it there I wouldn't know

So no sauce then, thanks dumbass.

No one ever called him Aegon, so his name is not Aegon. His real name is Jon.

there is no sauce for that his name is Jon

her cuddles with the little lords made me feel things
