I suspect you're confusing his role with that of the Lord Mayor of the City of London (Parmley), which is a ceremonial position. They are very different and Khan does have authority, he's the elected executive of the GLA.

He is the elected executive of the GLA and head of the London Assembly, you braindead fat nigger. So things like policing, fire service, housing, highways, budget, transport, strategic planning are all the responsibility of the GLA.

To claim he has no power/authority, to claim he is just a figurehead is simply wrong, but in no way surprising that a nigger would say otherwise.

If you want a serious answer and not just atypical Sup Forumsposting a number of things.

I guess you could argue his first responsibility aligning with his party was to support the Remain campaign during the EU referendum, I remember distinctly him campaigning alongside David Cameron. However obviously they lost this vote despite London's Remain stance, whether this a win/loss is up to you to decide.

One of his significant stances was to freeze travel fares which has really been backtracked on, single ticket fares have remained the same but travelcard costs have risen.

The Night Tube has finally opened although that by and large is a continuation of the work done by the previous TfL and GLA assemblies.

We've had 3 terrorist attacks in London since his election, the response to which has been completely empty run of the mill calls for calm which haven't gone down particularly well with most of the country I would say.

He's made a real, real mess of this thing with Uber though revoking their license which has has angered the vast majority of metropolitan middle classers that liked him in the first place.

He's a huge PR man, always on TV or radio, even more so than Boris Johnson ever was surprisingly.

I don't think he's done particularly well, he stands for little to nothing besides 'inclusiveness' and a continuation of Blairism.
