Travlling was SUPPOSED to be an enlightening process, that produces chemicals mimicking a psychedelic trip.

But as everything mass produced, it turned into mindless time wasting and escapism to distract you from how actually shit your life is.

It's an entraiment process. Bust ass for a year, and then get a week at the beach. Good dog.

It does nothing. It doesn't broaden your mind at all. All I see from millennials who say that traveling broadens your mind is that they travel to a different country and only stay at 5-star hotels and go on guided tours. They don't go live with the natives to live like common folk.

Speak for yourself. Traveling is the only thing I even enjoy in life anymore. I just like to experience the journey to a foreign land, try foreign foods, interact with foreign people, observe foreign cultures, view foreign landscapes, partake in foreign pasttimes, IN foreign countries. I absolutely hate multiculturalism because it completely kills the purpose of traveling to experience different cultures. Oh and people that travel to get drunk in a hostel bar 10000km from home should be rounded up and gassed. They're usually the "oh my goshhhhhhhhhhh Stacey just fucked that creepy Italian guy like omg totallyyyyyy" kind of people who are annoying to begin with.

Most of the people from Sup Forums that travel do it to get laid.
It's obviously easier to get laid in other countries and with potentially a woman out of your league because most woman travel with other female friends and they can't simply text their friend with benefit to come over and chill.

Traveling is GOAT. Seeing other countries, nature. I actually can't stay in my home region for more than 1-2 months at a time. I just have to change up the setting. But I only travel to first world countries. I would never set a foot in a third world shithole, which is what many people find exciting.

It's nice to leave the third world every now and again to see what functioning societies look like. It's also nice to return home to see what those functioning societies are going to look like in 50 years from now.

I dunno senpai. I've traveled all over Europe, parts of East Asia and the Middle East (Vacation for Europe, Navy for the rest). Call me biased or whatever, but literally nowhere I've ever been has been as nice as the U.S. Everyone always says that the whole "America is better than everywhere else is a meme" and honestly it is in some parts, but on the whole, the U.S. is better than anything I experienced elsewhere. Also: Sorry France, Italy has the best food. Sorry Germany, Belgium has the best beer (besides American micros).

No. It just doesn't feel safe. I know that the pussy is cheap, but it's just too dangerous imo.
There are many beautiful places in shit tier countries. I would love to visit the pyramids Egypt or the Victoria Falls, but I just can't justify it from a safety standpoint.
