Do you still go to church like me? Fuck, it can be hard to get away when there's really nothing to do around here but go to church.
Why is it a pos religion? I have one of the books I’m planning on reading.
Why are Mormons so good at everything? Everytime you see a video of them, they're always stunting on somebody. Beating niggas in basketball, mexicans in card games. I hate religion but Mormons seem to be real role models.
Hell no. I was raised in it, knew it was all bullshit when I was 10 (21 now) and I got out of it as soon as I moved out from my parent's house. Got my records pulled and everything. Best advice I can give: stop going. Even if people give you shit for it. It's not worth keeping that loop of self-indocrination intact.
If I find those dishes will mormon babes drop to their knees for me?
They're not. There are smart and talented mormons just like there are smart and talented muslims, buddists, ect. Maybe they're more vocal about the fact they're mormon, as "everyone in the church is a missionary" is a common motif in the church.
This town is so empty, the only times I get social contact are when I go to job interviews and when I go to church. I'm so horny.
What I was trying to say is that you wouldn't for this mormon girl.
It was founded by a pedo conman (Joseph Smith) as a way to commit fraud, rape, polygamy and control those around him. By the time Brigham Young had settled in Utah he had the entire state on lockdown. Anything that people wanted to do had to be ran by him. He commanded loyal followers to kill innocent men, women and children to claim their land. Which they did. The Mountain Meadows Massacre took the lives of 120-140 people. The killing stopped soon after but the corruption of that church has spread way too far. Utah is basically a larger Jonestown. I fear for those who are still in the religion, if the prophet tells them to off themselves...they might do it.
Exact same here, op. It's crazy how many members really don't know their own religion or they just fingers in ears the parts they don't like.
Like polygamy in heaven. My sister la la la that one away as much as she can.
They're not, believe me. True, many of them tend to end up middle-class, but it's very few that are actually talented. Those that are tend to get forced to going on a mission, attending BYU (which I did for a while as well but noped the fuck out after a year), marrying in the temple way too young and start cranking out kids that will grow up in that same cycle.
I was raised Mormon but don't believe in the church anymore too.
But the Mormon community is one of the few based white communities left. The average white person today is pozzed, I just want a community of sensible people of northern European stock.
OP here, not sure what you mean, could you elaborate?
>if the prophet tells them to off themselves...they might do it.
No might about it, they literally worship him.
This
How did your parents react when you told them you are homosexual
Still don't go. Get on r/exmormon (I know, I know, Reddit is for niggers) and check out the exmormon meetups they plan every month. Who knows, you could get laid (I did twice from those)
Yep...dealt with that far too many times. Polygamy, the rock in the hat to translate the Book of Mormon, racism in the church, when a prophet speaks "as a man" instead of "from God" so they can retcon stuff, the list goes on.
OP here, tbh though I'd rather live in a mixed society with crime and violence than one I know is nothing but smoke and mirrors. I find it downright creepy how doing anything in Utah that goes slightly against the church basically makes you an outcast.
The golden plates myth Joseph Smith tried to pass off as real, so he could spread the book of mormon.
Yeah...6 generations of my family were (and are) all Mormon. They were some of the first to settle in Utah and to join Mormonism. That's not an exaggeration. I mean all of them are. Every cousin I have, every family member. Except me. I was the first to say no. So I got disowned.
Blah. Don't care. Raised mormon but now I just want to experience gentile life before I die. Being an unmarried virgin I was never getting to the highest kingdom anyway. Most mormons were nice growing up but they had a creepiness to them. Being anti-mormon is played out. I'd rather be anti-jew, anti-islam or anti-catholic
OP again, I actually am bisexual. And yes, I did tell them two years ago. They reacted about as well as you'd expect. Over a year of making sure I didn't do anything slightly bi around the neighborhood (or anywhere really), followed by me coming home from work to my suitcases on the doorstep.
Eugenics. It's why I never got laid when I was told I could only date the 10 mormon girls available in my city my age
i'm proud of you user, having the will power do leave the herd and think for yourself shows more character than being a simpleton lemming
It's been like that in basically every society throughout history forever. Still in most societies today.
What do you think happened to you if you went against the Catholic Church in Europe in the 1200s? Or if you go against Islam in Saudi Arabia today?
There's a reason for it. Religious institutions are in place to establish a coherent set of rules and structure for society to base itself on. By going against it you're breaking society and introducing chaos to the previously established structure.
Danny Ainge was all-American in three sports in high school. They mog all other white people in sports.
Ah, yes. The fucking plates. There actually were a set of plates that were shown to the second group of Joseph's witnesses, but they were scientifically tested and found to be made of iron. Of course, the church doesn't tell members that...kek
As for your question, you'd be better off sacrificing 2 years of your life in the middle of fucking nowhere with some stuck up mission buddy to get in any Mormon panties. Well, briefs. Most Mormon chicks are scolded to all hell if they wear sexy clothes. Not worth it imo
Ken Jennings was a Jeopardy god
OP here. For me, it's not hating Mormons, it's hating Mormonism. The people like me who were raised in it but never got out aren't really at fault, it's the manipulative cunts running it that I want to see out of power.
Except.... it's not supposed to be like that in the United States.
But Utah is a defacto theocracy so it's almost like a version of Sharia law.
Born and raised in Utah as a Mormon, out now thankfully.
Yeah, the dating pool tends to be a bit low when you're only allowed to go out with mollys
Why thank you user, that means a lot
And now the United States is crumbling, but Utah and Mormonism is growing. Islam is growing. Societies that behave like that are surviving and growing.
Weird, right?
Mormonism is not growing.
I know what you are getting at and sorry, I'm not a racist piece of shit. The Mormons tend to be though, why don't you join up with all the inbred white Mormons in Utah?
OP here. You are correct, that's how many societies keep a solid foundation, but you'd think in the 21st century there would be less of a theocracy. :/
Agreed, and good for you getting out of it user
Not a question, but a good kek nonetheless
Agreed, previously throughout history the mutants that deviated too far from the genetic norm didn’t pass on their genes or were burned as witches etc. 40% of people didn’t make it to adulthood an the majority were of the lowest tiers of society. All those purple haired weirdos were culled from the heard and I think anyone promoting bringing in foreign invaders or self imposed extinction through the childless lifestyle didn’t make it and now we see the dysgenic effects they have in the crumbling society around us.
OP again. Utah's population is growing, yes, mostly due to many people from the Midwest living in Salt Lake City (the least Mormon city in the state). However, you are downright wrong in terms of Mormonism growing. In fact, the number of members gained per year, active members, missionaries serving, charity workers, and temple attendance is at an all time low since the 1950s. They're bleeding numbers and that's why they've made drastic changes like making church 2 hours instead of 3, trying to keep people in.
Indeed
You obviously haven't lived in a majority non-white area. Go live in a majority black area and see how far kindness and inclusivity gets you, you naive soyboy
Gentlemen, let's keep it civil
...
You can replace it with the government, which is what communism does. That's why communist countries ban religion, because it competes with the authority of the state. Like how theocracies ban competing religions. If you have a better idea I'm all ears.
I love in a non majority white area now. It's perfectly fine if you aren't a racist piece of shit like you.
I wish I did. I just tend to keep to myself, as everyone I've known left me. I don't know, I guess you just play with the cards you're dealt.
Sorry but I'm not one to tolerate racism, especially after leaving that racist religion.
I've lived in Utah and elsewhere. Utah is so homogeneous that it's boring as fuck. If that's your thing, ok. Not mine.
Me neither, and yes, Utah is unbelievably homogeneous. Leaving Utah growing up was a breath of fresh air since I got to see life outside of a cult bubble
Only a matter of time, faggot. You'll learn the hard way
The problem with that in particular is there is no higher moral guidelines as promoted by religions. When you have a bunch of communist religious zealots and the party dictates what morals are you will inevitably have human greed and abuse. It’s the perfect scapegoat also as they believe communism is the perfect ideology and communism doesn’t fail you, you fail communism. That’s the excuse for the it wasn’t real communism bullshit you always hear them spouting
This is a beautiful post.
Go live in a poor black area like I do and say that shit again
Op, what’s with the aesthetics of Mormon churches? I’m from Canada and just went to Moab in August and the churches look like something made in mine craft.
OP here, heading to bed as I work in a couple hours. It was nice to answer questions and talk to others who've been through what I have. Good night frens, and godspeed :)
Yeah they make them all different since they're supposed to be individual houses for Christ or some shit
Ok, it was one of the big things that caught my attention in particular. I figured there must have been some sort of thing to the square, blocky white steeples etc.
Really a religion based around seeking absolute truth that's able to adapt with humans over time and has a religious class like the Druids would be pretty nice imo.
Arguably the Cult of Science fulfills that role, but they killed the spiritual and cultural aspect of it, which is not good.
I read that the mor(m)on church donates less than 1% of its revenue to charitable causes. Can you confirm?
I was in the same situation and took the same actions, but I feel no hate towards them. The Mormon church places a big emphasis on service to those around you, those in need, and on having a strong family unit. I left due to issues with the existence of God, but I really dont hate the church, nor most of the people in it. I dont quite understand where your vitriol is coming from.
That’s what Christians call logos. Speaking the truth. The real problem with radical scientism where people take that to its logical conclusion is they get to simulation theory’s or the belief that everything and everyone is just a random mistake of chemistry and nothing more. It’s the polar opposite flip of religious zealots that believe everything is predetermined by god and you are just along for the ride to suffer his abuses. Both strip people’s personal agency away leaving you open for control and abuse from those feeding you the ideology.
Well I can kind of get behind the basic premise of the Simulation Theory.
My reason being that I had a dream of an event that later actually happened in my life. Later I met other people who had the same thing occur, some even writing the dream down in a dream journal to confirm it's not deja vu. Then I heard people online who I never talked to in my life discuss the same happening to them. Then paranormal phenomena started happening to me.
So obviously I came to the conclusion that there is more to reality than the physical world we view. And our lives are at least partially, if not entirely, predetermined. Perhaps predetermined by ourselves before living them.
He’s effectively a genetic mutation deviating from the norm of his genetic stock. I know that must sound cold and harsh but think of it as genetics testing new avenues of existence to find better survival strategies. It may work or maybe not but the deviation is pretty much a natural thing. It will boil down to if the genetic strain replicates to see if it was a success or not. Obviously butt pumping men isn’t really a long term survival strategy but it’s socially trendy right now so there’s that
It’s literally a cult
My ex-gf was a mormon, it is annoying for me that in a younger age she had a struggle focusing on school and in her religion back on the time of our relationship. Like a fucking straight 6hr class and will go ahead at their church after. She told me that sometimes her parents would beat the shit of her if she didn't comply to her bible readings and shits when she felt tired of everything. And I don't feel the sense of freedom on mormon's followers because it seems like your life was already planned for something without your consent and considered blasphemy if you refuse to do it. I did not explore much about it but, I feel like it's terrible to do loads of work when you have no assurance of going to heaven.
Explain to everyone what “garments” are.
And all the snitching that is encouraged at BYU
>Snitching on people for not following rules they agreed to follow is bad
Retard, just don't go to BYU if you don't want to follow the Honor Code
And garments are meant to keep you from looking like a whore, similar to Muslim hijabs.
Ya I think you see there is definitely something deeper than a superficial physical existence. In occult beliefs and many other religions the concept of speaking the world into existence is a big thing. There was a corrupted version of it released by literal satanists called “The secret “ based off the law of attraction as it’s known if you want to check that out. Look up the double slit experiment also, it’s a scientific experiment that shows effectively that when we observe matter we directly affect it and have a genuine creative ability within this world. It basically proves we directly affect the world around us and can steer that to our likes etc
Looking like a whore? Shoulders? Yeah shoulders definitely make make a women a whore
Everyone with any sense know every part of a woman can be attractive. I've seen sexy shoulders before
Hardcore Muslims would think so.
Oh yeah what a sexy collarbone, flex that deltoid for me
The entire torso should be covered
When did you discover you have a tiny cock?
Did they agree to rules? Yeah. Does it mean that everyone should be looking for a reason to tell on someone? No. The stories I’ve heard are fucked like a guy liked a bikini picture of his friend from out of state and someone reported it and he lost his scholarship. That’s fucking bullshit
I've heard of this concept of manifesting your own reality before, and agree with it as far as my understanding currently goes.
One could look at the flip side of this and the complete lack of social stigma on people’s dressing habits and ask where do those types draw the line as to what’s too far?
Man they just believe he says what their god says. But offing yourself is against the religion and they believe you shouldn’t worship people who aren’t god.
Look I agree that the opposite is much worse, but it’s pretty stupid to make someone where a full torso skin colored lining under a tank top
Ya man, it’s obscure but quite well known in non Christian belief systems. The matrix movie movies went pretty deep using those beliefs in a movie as an example
Real shit all the girls in the Mormon church by my house were obsessed with babies at like ten and I seriously don’t get it.
Quantum physics my man
Yeah man fucking eyes can be hot.. wtf we gonna do about it
Bro I wanna fuck a girls nostrils better plug them up
kek exactly
Societies that allow it degenerate into the filth we see today, you can't have it both ways.
It's like drinking. If you don't want any alcoholics, you can't just tell everyone to drink a little. You have to take alcohol out completely.
Ya it’s an interesting subject to be honest. The communists dressed everyone in their green commie jump suits and had them all cover their hair to completely reduce the personal individuality and sex as a method of promoting conformity. Companies employ this tactic to with uniforms for the same effect if the are not looking for creativity within their workforce. At the same time everyone having all social norms removed end up completely atomized and rootless with no cultural attachments and base their identities off of their items and attire that make them “unique” in a world without norms to be different from. It’s hyper capitalism/globalization types promoting that to make the ultimate compliant consumer units
Ya buddy
Oh shit look at the pupils on that slut
Do Mormons believe that they become creator gods?
I don’t want to derail and go off on a tangent but I’m so excited for when quantum computing becomes a commercially available technology. It will change so much
Is what goodnewsforlds.org
says accurate?
Most treat it like any other Christian church and have no idea about that
Yeah basically every dystopia movie/book has everyone dresses in uniforms. These kinds of systems try so hard to move their society towards utopian standards but fail to understand that the the inherent flaw in humanity will never allow a society to reach a utopia, hence why they are only referred to as dystopias.
Lol I don’t think people really get what it does and how it works. My best friend is buddy’s with one of the guys a D-wave in Burnaby where they are doing all that and it’s not quite what people think. The problem with quantum in standard uses is it can’t spit out answers to mathematical questions as everything exists in an on and off state at the same time. There are some pretty cool uses for what it is designed for that nothing else can do and they don’t quite understand exactly how it’s working. The owner is a real weirdo religious zealot type and if you dig into some of his talks he has some really weird visions of what they want to create
Ya they want equity not equality or meritocracy. At least the fascists recognized everyone was different and did their best to elevate their best and brightest to squeeze the most productivity out of the for the greater good of society. Anyone pushing equity is a science denying ideological zealot completely out of touch with reality
What religion?
