What did you do while enlisted in the Chair Force?

Hello, fellow GISer

>any good?
Second this:
I'm close to retirement. I'm finding GIS going the way of word processing - the software is making it so anyone can do it to some degree. There are two valuable skills that bump yoiur value quite a bit: administration of a GIS system for an enterprise (setup, configuration, licensing, ...), and/or working familiarity with some field that benefits from GIS (biology, geology, agriculture, real estate...).

I was an In Flight Refueler but due to my shoulder they grounded me and are giving me the boot.

how did you almost make Staff Sergeant rank by just fueling up aircrafts?
