One of the best superhero movies ever made.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ORANGE SLICES?

You see, Doctor, God didn't kill that little girl. Fate didn't butcher her and destiny didn't feed her to those dogs. If God saw what any of us did that night he didn't seem to mind. From then on I knew... God doesn't make the world this way. We do.

Quads of truth

Yes I think so

Confirmed

What are the others?

I SAID

...

I find it interesting how ahead of the curve The Shadow was in so many ways, both the movie and comics/pulps.

Now whenever I see HAHA posting I hear it in his voice.
Not mad.

unironically kino

What's not to love about about an invisible gunman with hypnosis powers

A close second. The first is

Dr. Pavel, I'm CIA

youtube.com/watch?v=alQlJDRnQkE

That's how it starts, sir. The fever, the rage, the feeling of powerlessness that turns good men... cruel.

Awkward OST
Animated parts were boring and unnecessary
Dull looking
Forgettable characters aside from Ozymandias and Rorschach

I will never understand this movie's appeal.

wun day, ah sawr a choild playin wif a rubay the soize of a tangerayne. da bandit had bin frowin dem away.

Eat floor, high fiber.

lmfao

Hes so tiny, why did they cast him as 47?

It's a DCuck meme, nobody else gave a shit about that movie

Why come to this thread

Wait, are there any non DC threads left?

The mark of zorro 1940
Superman 1978
Flash Gordon

For attention. Got it.

Spider-man 2.

Unbreakable

You missed spawn

What was his master plan again?

Summoning a giant interdimentioal squid god.

I dont remember honestly, something involving a giant octopus?

I'll give you the bird guy and silk vulva or whatever her name was, but Dr Manhattan and the Comedian were both great and hard to forget

>DCucks calling others attention seekers

Bravo Snyder

...

Becoming the ultimate power bottom

Darkman

I guess I need to watch the movie again, I cant even remember why he killed the comedian

Best superhero movie piece of dialogue is this "I'll not die a monster". 10/10 film

To throw Rorschach off

>password is incomplete
>would you like to add more characters
what was moore thinking?

Avengers 1 and 2 and Civil War

its not from a superhero movie

its from a comic

Was Batfleck inspired by Rorscach?

>I bet your parents taught you that you mean something, that you're here for a reason. My parents taught me a different lesson, dying in the gutter for no reason at all. They taught me the world only makes sense if you force it to.

>I'm older now than my father ever was. This may be the only thing I do that matters.

>Criminals are like weeds, Alfred; pull one up, another grows in its place. This is about the future of the world. This is my legacy.

>It's time you learned what it means to be a man.

>Animated parts were boring and unnecessary
They were never supposed to be in the movie. It was originally just promotional material to get people hyped for the movie.

It wasn't even in the "directors cut" as part of the movie. They didn't add it into the movie propper until the THIRD release of the movie called "the ultimate cut."
I've never understood how people defend the blatant double/triple dipping that snyder/the studio does with the movies.
At least blade runner had like nearly 30 years to accumulate its alternative edits. Snyder movies come out of the gate with people expecting a supplemental edit of the movie.

No. The Comedian found out his plan
youtube.com/watch?v=D6OmX3h9g_A

which was...?

eh, it was an adaption

and it really didn't do anything better than the original comic, where the story had room to breathe and the characters could develop at a reasonable pace

It could have been, if Snyder hadn't shat all over Veidt's character

>stolen line from like 100 other sources that had the same thing

First one I remember wasn't said, just implied and that was from:

youtube.com/watch?v=B8zz3CfUBto

Why is there such a vocal minority of Snyder haters?

Superman '78
Batman '68
Batman '89
Batman Returns
Spider-Man 2
The Dark Knight
Iron Man
First Class
Days of Future Past
Logan
Captain America 2
The Avengers
The Rocketeer
Hellboy 1&2
The Incredibles

I think that's the official Reddit-approved list

yeah. shadow would basically be a perfect fit for a dark comic hero that was active before quipping became the norm. I remember it was considered a TOO dark movie when it was released, but really that was just staying true to the source material in theme and tone. I kinda wish it got rediscovered.

do you even need to ask? when something becomes mainstream / popular its just unavoidable

>Snyder
>popular

?

If he was, DC missed the entire point of Rorschach, considering Rorschach is satire on Batman to begin with.

this

yes, Zack Snyder is a popular director, why do you seem confused?

what makes you think its a vocal minority?

His plan was to detonate multiple bombs across the world, pin it on blue dick, who's going to just leave the milkyway anyways, so that the world works together to stop beings like Manhattan to do something similar in the future.

Watching Watchment, it was pretty obvious that Snyder didn't really understand the story.

I mean, look at what he did to Veidt.
Look at how he took a morally grey ending and changed it so that Niteowl addressed the audience DIRECTLY to tell them how they should feel about it.

>/BOYS

Was he, dare I say it, /ourguy/?

that doesnt seem like a good plan

Seems like it worked for atleast a short period of time.

>Is this one of the best lines in a superhero movie?

what was roscach's power tho ?

who

>The mark of zorro 1940
Alain Delon's version is bretty gud too.

>what makes you think its a vocal minority?

rotten tomatos is the definition of a vocal minority

Infestation of paid Marvel shills.

>who

rorschach's power.
what is it ?
how is he threatening them ?

I like Snyder but I never liked watchmen, I think it's Moore's mediocre attempt at attacking his audience's preconceptions about the medium. (what Hideaki Anno did successfully with NGE.)

Autism

>capeshit still hasn't managed to surpass this youtube.com/watch?v=sNXohNU3tWo

How did our guy do it?

FOR YOU

The Matrix

aight, I was just messing with you because you orthographically butchered his name at first, but youre just asking for it.

>watchmen
>superpowers

kys

Do these count as movie lines? They were lifted from the comic, right?

>>watchmen
>>superpowers
>Is this one of the best lines in a superhero movie?

Lame

DUDE, RECOGNIZABLE POP SONGS LMAO

rorschach was the only interesting thing about the movie

Dr Manhattan

>the city of your point

WHERE'S MY FAAAAAAAAAAACE???

It didn't suck as much as Alien 3, but it still sucked balls. 6/10, cuck.

>tall order
>small world

MWAAAAAA
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

6/10 is an average rating you retard. If it sucked balls, it should be rated a 3/10 or something

"Each one of these is a life you helped destroy"

"Is that gasoline I smell"

"Victims aren't we all?"

Quote kino?

I can't get over how Snyder clearly didn't understand how the characters weren't supposed to move like they had superpowers.
