This level of degeneracy needs to be put to bed. It is sad that our president is a liar and doesn't bring forth the day of the rope so we may have a degenerate free society, but he does have Jew in his family. Gene Roddenberry will be worrying in his grave if he knew how the Jews are ruining his series. How can you faggots support this?

You sound like an enormous autist. Like more than your average Star Trek enthusiast
Roddenberry would've supported this you fucking idiot. Stop pretending to be a fan.
Her name in the show is Michael. I don't get it
W R O N G
Gene wouldn't even have supported DS9
Y-you realize the world isn't like Sup Forums....right?
We honestly don't know what Gene would have thought of transgenderism because it was a very taboo subject back then. So how do you know he would have supported it?
It's believed that because the character's name is Michael and he is portrayed by a woman that the character is transgender.
He wanted an openly gay character on the original series though. That much is known.
Thank you for convincing me to watch this show OP.
I just hope it's not shitty. I don't care about the diversity of the cast
>religious human Starfleet officer
No. He would have never written that. A Nigerian women officer. Yes he would have written that.
So the main character of the new Star Trek is black and transgender?
God fucking damn I am a man out of his time. I don't mind a black woman, I don't mind gender bending stuff, but this is too much.
Is she also Muslim or maybe she has a peanut allergy.
This show is fucked.
Could be the usual girl with older brothers going by a male nick name. Her name is probably Michaela.
its only 10 episodes right?
why is there so much bitching about this shit mini series?
How could you? I mean its Star Trek, it's supposed to be a crew of racially diverse people.
It's like the whole fucking point.
Gene was an old school liberal
>Men and women get married
>fags are wrong
>religion is a lie
>humans will eventually all behave like decent white folk
>though it's ok to fuck around
He's closer to Shatner in opinions, but more conservative.
It's not the whole point it's like a non-point

It ties pretty heavily with the idealistic view of the future - that human's have evolved past petty differences and that has allowed them to spread that sort of ideology around the rest of the universe.
We can still have that once the Final Solution for Sup Forums is realized.
Waaahhh white boy can't handle weird people in his sc-fi.
If there's aliens and shit, why can't there be a black transgender man?
It's not a big deal, really.
This is like a pastiche of Sup Forums. I say that as a regular.
>Roddenberry would've supported this
He would never have supported this. They're going backwards on his vision on the future. They're fucking reintroducing religion to humanity when we were supposed to have evolved beyond it.
Makes even less sense than introducing currency to a post-scarcity civilization like DS9 did.
But then you're either a shill pretending to be into something you don't know anything about outside of cultural osmosis or you're one of those amazing new generation fan children who think buying plastic landfill is what being a fan is all about.
exactly this
I had hoped the future would be like star trek but turns out it'll be more like Lexx where everyone is a degenerate who slips further and further into hedonism as the years pass, constantly looking for more extreme methods of physical gratifications as old forms of become passé ever more quickly
>its only 10 episodes right?
>why is there so much bitching about this shit mini series?
It was supposed to be the relaunch of Trek on TV.
They even got a proper writer who was a genuine fan of the show to pen episodes and he in turn promised to stay within the bounds of established story and keep fuckery to a minimum.
Then studio meddling starts.
It needs more diversity.
It needs more "punch".
Let's fire the guy we got to write this, we need someone in touch with modern audiences.
Let's change the design of established races instead of creating something new.
Let's introduce more timeline fuckery, even though we said this wasn't Nu-Trek and was supposed to be inside the universe of Trek.
It's now going to be a vehicle to promote their streaming service.
In other words this is a gigantic clusterfuck and that they're pushing back the release date is just ample proof this will be absolutely atrocious.
Why do nerds get so buttblasted by Jews?
When Star Trek is considered sexist you have to step back and wonder if we've given certain people too much freedoms.
Many humans were religious in ToS and TNG.
You just have your head up your own ass.
GUYS
do we know if Michael isnt actually just her last name?
...
>Many humans were religious in ToS and TNG.
Primer for you:

apparently paramount has bots that scan Sup Forums for any spoilers on this movie.
say HI to paramount
Wait, so the new lead is a religious black trangendered person? Can someone give me the quick rundown?
Im not going to watch it, and i dont want to talk about it.
Sticking to pre-STD trek threads. Not watching any more JJtrek either. As a trekkie Im fed up with being abused. Time to just live with the memories.
In Balance of Terror there is literally a chapel on the Enterprise, and that widow was definitely praying in it at the end
Currency was used in ds9 because it was an outpost away from Federation territory. Earth is still post scarcity and doesnt use currency.
Dont forget, there's also literally a Chapel on the Enterprise in TOS.
r/The_Donald please fuck off you are boring
That's what i just said mate.
>Working for free
That alone is why Trek is boring as fuck
r/The_Donald sucks Trump's cock wholesale. At least this guy recognises that Trump is a Jewish shill who promotes degeneracy.
a fair point
Notice the capitalization
:)
I want off this ride
How is a Muslim supposed to pray towards Mecca in space?
>mfw a former friend tipped his fedora hard at spiritual stories in Voyager because he thought religion would be dead in the future
But Native American spiritual beliefs aren't religion user, they're all true.
akoochimoya
There's actually been a debade about this (because the ISS orbits the earth faster than muslim astronauts can pray) and the generally accepeted answer is that you're allowed to pray in the general direction of the mecca as long you you know where that is.
Native American spirituality is more of a culture thing not a religious thing. I'm Cherokee and that episode was entirely bullshit.
Is there seriously anyone who is an accomplished enough scientist in order to become an astronaut but still believes in religious dogma?
>Gene Roddenberry will be worrying in his grave
>worrying
Science and religion aren't mutually exclusive.
it is when you get to the point that you're in outer space and should realize that your piddling life doesn't matter in the grand scheme of the universe no matter how good it makes you feel to "believe" otherwise
Kek, your fedora is showing. There are literal creationist astrophysicists.
...
You seem upset.
Yes, they are, your autism is flaring up.
They aren't actual scientists if they still believe in childish stories.
>it's a "neet atheist thinks he's more of a scientist than actual scientists because of his superior neck beard" episode
Oh man, haven't seen one of these on Sup Forums in awhile.
>You seem upset.
That's probably projection, user. I'm simply dropping some knowledge.
Lol
Most Astronauts there were religious came back from space even more religious than before they went up.
There's been interviews from the guys that went to the moon in the Apollo missions
Having a belief in a imaginary friend into adulthood is a sign of the disorder known as autism. As a Doctor, I can confirm this and urge you seek psychological attention immediately or else I may have to log this down for future examination.
Nice projections.

Glib penitence is common among the morally dubious. They just want to be absolved of their decades long lie of telling the world they actually went to the moon instead of a Stanley Kubrick soundstage.
Do you have evidence to support they didn't go to the Moon?
that's weak bait, I'm not here to do your research for you. There's plenty of it around.
>doesnt know about the secret codes kubrick put in the shining explaining how it was actually an indian burial ground.
I read that as, "I have nothing to support my claim."
Prove it.
autistic AND dyslexic, would you like me to hold the plastic bag over your face for you or will you just be sticking your head in the oven to end your life of suffering?
>Citation needed.
I'm not your personal google, but a very common part of the Overview Effect is exposure to space strengthening peoples existing religious beliefs because the scale and magnitude of existence becomes even more apparent to them.
Would you like me to force feed you your medication or will you volunteer to up your dosage?
> I'm not your personal google
See
/x/ made me believe it was fake.
Did we get new info on the show? What am I supposed to get upset at now?
"Her" name is apparently Michael, and she was born a he...or he was born a she, idk, but she's an it, and everyone here is pissed.
Obligatory
...
Wat
Christine.
No, stop being stupid. It's an old female name
imdb.com
Fuck the Waltons
i hope they moved away from the rumored idea that there were going to be space-muslims and dumb bullshit. i won't watch islamic propaganda in my trek.
How are we suppose to explain to our children that there is a tranny in a show that should inspire the good in humanity and not degeneracy.
> old female name
> series set in the future
