No.

No
No
Don't
Fuck yeah, what meds she got
Depends on what kind of medication it is. Most of them are either completely bunk or simply mind-altering drugs that make you addicted.
So, what medication is it, exactly?
Depression meds aren't some short term party drug to make you feel better in the moment bro, chances are you'll feel worse than you do now and you'll just wanna sleep. Depression meds barely even work long term, they just make you give a shit less about your depression..
Find a good dealer and smoke a bowl instead
no
No, you fucking dumbass. Even if they're the right meds for you in the right dosage, and they probably aren't, you need to continually take them for weeks to get a proper effect.
This. Either some good weed or get a couple grams of shrooms.
Don't take too many. It might make things worse.
i smoke n do drugs pretty often actually. might have to do with the sad feelings i've been getting, lmfao.
Okay, I'm seeing a solid "no" across the board here - not to come off as a total retard, but why not? I assume something about the medicine would be harmful because, yknow, it wasn't prescribed for me? Very unaware and shit so I'm really just curious
also yes this is op
Don't take them. It's stupid, you'll feel so much worse after. If they're not prescribed for you in the first place they probably won't even work.
Depression meds affect each person a little differently. The right dose for one person could be too much for another. Some can even increase thoughts of suicide.
Depression meds are mind-altering, generally changing how your brain reacts to mood-changing substances it produces. If you're not actually depressed, or the wrong kind of depressed, or have the wrong weight-to-dose ratio, then you're fucking your brain chemistry all the way to next sunday.
If you're getting it right, then those meds work to stabilize you, not to make you happy. They lift the depression fog so you can get out of the hole with actual effort. You still have to make yourself happy.
gotcha. I know for a fact she must have a pretty intense dosage, though I don't have exact numbers or the name of the medicine on hand right now. Regardless, seems like I'd be better off not risking it.
This is interesting - admittedly I had no idea what the medicine did, exactly. Seems like Hollywood and whatnot has convinced me depression meds are just MDMA.
Tell me specifically what the medication is and I'll give you better advice than these normalfags. And holy fuck is this board full of normalfags now
Also since depression medications are so popular and profitable, there are many ham handed doctors out there over-prescribing. I was on 200mg of an ssri for over 2 years. They aren't even allowed to prescribe that much anymore. My brain chemistry has been permanently altered,
Are you a doctor?
>You still have to make yourself happy
based and truthpilled
Even better. I know more about psychoactive drugs and pharmacology than most general practitioners you will meet. Just tell me the medication and I'll tell you if it has any potential
So you're a pusher then. Corporate or street, they are all the same.
Being an addict doesn't make you an expert...
>reads through erowid a handful of times
yep good enough for me doctor
giving the bottles a quick glance it appears to be either citralophram or aripiprazole - these may be for schizophrenia however, she has medicine for both. she's asleep or i'd just ask her, might make another thread later if needed
Meds work differently on different people you fool. What works or not works for you might for user. Don't be a idiot.
Did your Libido ever recover, Chief?
Schizophrenia meds do wild and crazy shit to normal people.
Physically yes, mentally, no,
I fucking bet, lmaooo. No way I'm trying that. Looks like Citalopram is the depression med.
>normal people.
No such term exists
They'll both fuck you up without proper monitoring and dosage
brainlet replies
Yeah neither one of those is going to do anything. Citalopram is an (outdated) SSRI that takes daily maintenance over weeks to have any effect (which won't be cathartic at all), and the other, Abilify, is an atypical antipsychotic with no potential either, unless you want to become an emotionless, diskinetic zombie. Sounds like she needs them more than you do. Too bad it isn't Tianeptine, you'd be in luck.
I only meant normal as in not schizophrenic. I agree that normal is a relative term.
she has very intense schizo so i'm sure that numbing effect is useful for her, yeah. So I'm getting that these drugs A) might be dangerous as shit and B) probably wouldn't do much anyways, huh? Sounds good to me. Can't ask this kind of shit on Yahoo can you, lmfao
try A Deep tissue shave from your local sandfriendkin barberyan roody pooh
I think Citalopram can cause serotonin syndrome in high doses, not sure about the other though. Try giving the weed a break, that can intensify paranoia etc
you seem like a knowledgeable guy and i'm a sleepless retard, so what can you tell me about ecstasy and shit like that? i fuckin love the stuff, but is it legitimately dangerous to take it often? Are there alternatives to that positive-as-fuck high?
Very, very unlikely to be dangerous unless you have an allergy. Both meds have a very rare chance of causing Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. If you take the citalopram you won't feel anything. If you take the Abilify, your thoughts and emotions will slow to a crawl and you'll be diskinetic and uncomfortable in your own skin. Neuroleptics like Abilify reduce the transmission and uptake of dopamine in the presynaptic cleft, which is basically the opposite of feeling good.
It can in very high doses, like the entire bottle. Serotonin syndrome is usually caused by taking two or more serotonergic drugs at once, like say citalopram and MDMA. Taking an SSRI with an MAOI is very likely to cause it.
Op I too suffer from A mental Illness so I would sympathize with you But as i'm A sociopath I can'tget A fuck
Ecstasy is nice on occasion, but it's been linked to heart, liver and kidney problems, and depression/paranoia after long term use. Not sure of alternatives, sorry
Teach me to not be a normalfag
So the guy definitely shouldn't take Molly and Citalopram
i take molly p often lmaooo. got 2 jigs ready, probably gonna pop one on halloween with said gf
that isn't usually a behaviour that can be learned. What I've always done is simply to treat life with a passionate but reckless abandon. do whatever the fuck I want whenever I want and take my interests seriously but treat everything else like a joke, but while free, I'm an antisocial asshole and my life is in shambles so I wouldn't take my advice if you have relationships or anything else you couldn't live without.
Definitely not. Not only does it have the potential for serotonin syndrome, but the MDMA will have practically 0 euphoria and the side effects will be pronounced. Same thing with any other classical tryptamine or phenethylamine based psychedelic, it will completely kill the trip
