dubs again, lets get a 22

four-engine aeroplane flying towards the lower left of the observer.

Attached: stereogram (2).png (1201x1080, 984K)

that's just another fucking deer

Same thing lol but I like the trend of answers for newbs who can't see them.

That looks like some sort of dinosaur head with wide gaping mouth, sharp teeth and a long pointy tongue.

Fuck Y'all Sup Forums

I see this thing

Attached: file.png (1000x1000, 178K)

No, it's a parrot.

Holy SHIT I SAW IT

nice, yeah.

you didn't extract this from the image I posted did you?

Do you own this book, I want it lol

I used to see these things as pop-out 3d now I see them pop-in cutouts.

Attached: fatmallrat.jpg (366x270, 18K)

I think your eyes are crossed.

Maybe its like those gifs where it looks like they are spinning left or right depending how you look at it.

It will work doing cross-eyed 3d, too, but supposedly works best looking through it with a thousand yard stare, which I've never been able to do.

It basically looks like a cutout outline of something or other, of that squirrely coloring against the same background behind the cutout, or pop out depending.

Yep. Took this pic just to say fuck y'all. Great coffee table book

Those that you originally saw were properly encoded.

Those that you currently see have been wrongly encoded. The original image should be created as a grey scale, in which the lighter regions are encoded in the foreground of the image, and the darker regions get encoded into the more distant background.

Beginners who start to make the stereograms often use a black on white silhouette which comes out looking like a cut-out, whereas if the silhouette was inverted into a white subject on a black background, the 3D image would look more like a solid flat fronted image in front of a distant background.

is a good introduction to making these images

prepare for a headache

No matter how hard I fucking try, I never get to see the magic message :(

you just go walleyed until your eyes are the right angle apart that the image converges

what sort of display are you using to look at the stereogram image?

I sort of got it now, can see some 3d elements but not quite there yet
LCD

Staring at the screen like

>LCD
>Staring at the screen like
I mean what sort of size.
I think you will struggle to see the image on a smartphone display, you need something that can display the image something like A4 size.
try this on a large screen monitor:
right click the expanded image and select
> open image in a new tab
on a Windows machine, pressing [f11] function key will remove the distraction of the toolbars and just show the image on a plain (probably black) background
zoom in or out to make the image about A4 size (about 30cm x21cm)
move really close to the image so your nose is near to the centre and try to focus your eyes into the distance (you won't see the image yet) now slowly move away from the image without refocusing your eyes: at some distance, maybe 60cm to one metre away you should be able to see the image clearly.

this one was hard for me to focus on.

I used that one because I thought it was one of the easiest to see.

maybe it was just because I was sideways on the couch hahah

I am trying, got a 27" screen and moving back and forth.
I can move my eyes cross eyed etc.
Sometimes I sort of see it but at this point, it seems too much hard work for the headache it gives.

the one constant truth of Sup Forums

stop wasting your time, user

fuck, I lost

Attached: image.jpg (1024x603, 258K)

This one is weird. I see either a deer in reverse relief (sunk into page) or one part of the image floating in front of the screen. Not the whole dear.

Wtf is this thread? I see nothing

Attached: dice.jpg (780x585, 121K)

you need to diverge your eyes until the image lines up with itself and you see depth

see the filename ?
there is a clue in there
if you don't know what ROT13 is, just type it into your address bar and your search engine will take you to a ROT13 encoder/decoder
type the 5-letter code ( fxhyy) into the input box and you clue is decoded.

Kek

This is one of the hardest I have ever looked at.

it is as though you are looking upwards at something like a ceiling, but there is a complex hole like structure that you can look through, and into the distance, but I can't figure out what it is supposed to be.

Anyone seen what it is yet?

It's a frog holding a dart in its mouth.

Also ineffective

Skull

I'm using a tablet, just swap to landscape and the images are a bit easier

This is a cross-eyed one.

Someone ported Doom to be one of these, it's called Omdo.

It defaults the difficulty to Nightmare I think, so I've only gotten through the first room lol

Pretty sure that's a deer with too many legs.

awe thanks user

wait what lol, did I read that correctly.

I can do it with the 1000 yard stare. I went to a day care after school and I had HOURS OF free time, and they had 2 magic books. So I mastered it. I can do it in less than a second. I've have used a book in probably 18-20 years but I can still do it.

Wow I just watched the youtube video on the page you linked and its insane haha talk about head ache. Its so hard to see even when you're locked in. The red damage vignette fucks it up each time and YouTubes compression algorithm doesn't help either lol.

STOP
these are not auto stereoscopic images.

Same here.

I just see colored static.

You just have to change your point of focus. When you look at your monitor, you're looking at a point of focus that's probably 1-2 feet in front of you (i.e. the surface of the monitor). To see these images, you have to focus past the monitor, maybe to your room's wall or even past that. How far past you have to go will vary for each image. You just keep adjusting your point of focus until you can see the embedded image.

A skull

I was describing the image in the post that I was replying to ( )

I was hoping this was gonna be a pussy but its just simple waves, still cool though.
