I’m white and not liberal but when you think about it the real issues start at home, and it’s not the white man causing it for these dudes, it’s their own mother. I never really had a problem with black men compared to say arab men or fucking hispanics.

Get your point but it's off the mark. Because there's a correlation of black women not being romanticized and them being generally unattractive. Although the causation might be rooted in other things, all the media really did was perpetuate the truth.

Also this leads to another point. I feel like a lot of the black community does this in some form or another, and because it's kind of true it passes. What I mean is, being systematically oppressed gives you an excuse for literally every short-coming; there's not enough representation in media, cops are more likely to commit violence against minorities by the slightest margin not because minorities (especially blacks) are more PRONE to crime, but because of some prejudice. Again, some of this has merit and has been documented, but I feel like y'all go a step backwards when you use it to cover faults that have are not indirectly or directly caused by "white people". Playing victim in certain contexts because you're a victim in others. It's infuriating to deal with / read. When you abuse the societal definition you're in, you lose sympathy from a lot of people.

If the black community stopped playing the victim in literally every scenario and owned up to the fact that some toxic aspects of their overall culture leads to some being degenerates of society people would like them a lot more. I don't want to feel like I, individually, owe you jack shit if I'm not perpetuating an issue. Which apparently breathing as a white person is an issue.
