Very scarey! Very scarey!
I was covering my eyes when I watched this scene. The part when IT was in the basement TERRIFIED me. This will be a fantastic movie! I love it. Its a perfect horror movie! I give it an 8.5/10
Wait. So I never watched the original film or read the book , but IT isn't just a clown? Because the trailer makes it seem like it's like some supernatural ghost or something.
Tfw to intelligent to float
Thanks Donald
>It is a ancient creature that crash landed on earth in the spot that would become Derry, Maine.
>It's return is usually horrible disaster that it may or may not have caused before going into hibernation for 27-30 years after another equally bad disaster.
>It feeds on humans when they're scared because they taste better that way hence why It goes after children since they're easier to scare.
>It scares people by going into their mind and taking the form of their fears (werewolf, zombie etc)
There's your quick rundown
You're gonna love how good you float down here. I do it every day. It's tremendous.
He's a spider monster from another galaxy that takes the shape of whatever scares you the most, for the kids being a clown. King based it of the forerunner for the gay rights movement and hero to homosexuals around the world Mr. John Wayne Gacy who spread his philosophy of love as a clown performer.
Actually sounds like a good premise when it's presented like that. Too bad King is a shitty YA author without anyone realizing it
I can't take it seriously after the running scene. Who the fuck thought that was a good idea?
>there are people RIGHT NOW that actually get excited about things
I'm with you senpai. This is going to be a good time
This is one of my favorite books of all time. If it does it justice even a little bit, it'll be worth it
The best parts of the book is the historical accounts for the disasters IT caused. Gave it a sort of Lovecraftian weight behind it, especially the haunting that lasted three years and resulted in the entirety of Derry dissapearing.
And the worst parts of the book are of course the bits describing in slow detail what IT is like. The quality is all over the place with that book.
King is kino
Ask /lit/
The problem with this movie is that if it fails to deliver good horror, it will end up being another schlock for the Nolan crowd, while the original It at least had Tim Curry to lean on if everything else failed.
This user gets it.
I've just read the book and my oh my, King underused /ourguy/ Ben. Instead he sent to dealing with IT fucking Richie, why is this guy even a thing?
Also that part about them losing the memories again is sad as fuck.
>This actually looks good
what the fuck no it dozen

You were doing just fine until your Sup Forums side kicked in.
Easy on the red pills. Too much and you end up like Spencer.
