i understand this and you may well be right. but it's important to remember that trump wants to win. assuming he IS sincere, he still has to walk the line between railing against the establishment and not totally alienating them. they could still fuck his campaign at this point. playing nice was what made them give up on cruz/kasich and gave him a clean path to the convention. he has to make a deal with the devil to some extent.
