Mysterious cities of gold
Look it up yourself
This series should have a live action reboot. Greek Gods in motherfucking space!
I suppose the likes of Thundercats, Silverhawks, Transformers & The Real Ghostbusters doesn't count because despite being developed in the west they were animated in Japan
Same goes for Battle of the Planets (Gatchaman). Not sure about The Space Sentinels though.
Anyone remember Marine Boy?
I loved marine boy when i was a kid ,it was actually kinda violent for a kid's show and it fascinated me.If only the protag wasn't such a cuck.
Sherlock Hound was perfection in western anime format.
I remember watching this at like 6am on fox kids
French animation used to be so good (and kinda dark)
Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea

speaking of french animation, I remember specifically an animated movie about fire and water people, where fire people get burned by water and water people become statues when in contact with sunlight and droughts. I don't know the name but I know it's french or french canadian. Anyone knows?
It's weird how certain anime was mainstream in the late 70s - early 80s then it went full neckbeard/weaboo territory afterwards
>western anime
