Yes, spend a season or two building up the characters from the game. When the MC and LaCroix die in the assassination, continue the show on as a power struggle between Therese, Strauss and Issac - with the anarchs starting an uprising in the chaos.
It'll mean characters previously established can have a larger role, for example Therese could do something with VV since she has ties to Strauss and Issac.

Why wouldn't they die? Obviously LaCroix would need to die - why not have the MC's arc end with the assassination? Got caught up in the world of darkness, lost all empathy, wants revenge etc. Would get an audiences attention, that's for sure.

People tend to say you can't really have much more of the WOD considering mages etc are too powerful for vampires.
Besides, the game already has werewolves and hunters, just expand on them.

Yes. OWoD is a genuinely fantastic setting. A little meaty and would probably need at least a trilogy to get really fleshed out but a decent team could make something amazing.
