Here's one that shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Groups of the world's billionaires are basically the illuminati. Without all the child sacrifices for the most part.

They just have parties and meetings where they discuss world politics. What would be in their mutual best interest and in general. Phones are off and whatever happens in those "parties" stays with the people alone.

People with enough money and influence can move the world exactly how the please. Really.
