I hate working in a "diverse" workplace. Sure, I'm making a shit-load of money and thus able to stockpile weapons and ammo like never before, but working around so many people I can't possibly relate to can be so... disappointing.

Same here, and all three of us are big time Trump supporters since the beginning. We just usually can't say nigger and other racist or curse words very loud because we are usually in rich neighborhoods building homes, we usually work up in the mountains just beneath NORAD and sometimes by Pikes Peak so what we say is usually amplified by the terrain.

Humor is a good way to relieve pressure for a lot of people.
A significant part of doctors are borderline "crazies" (not psychothic but nevrotic), you can consult the stats about alcoholism or drug use in the profession, it is an exception among such highly educated people (on average addicts are lower class people), mostly because of insane hours and crushing stress that are badly managed.
I remember reading an article about the fact that the patterns were strangely similar between them and high ranked workers in the financial sector which are both an anomaly in their social class.

Surgeons have all of this but in worst (they maybe work less on average but 5-10 hours long operations are hard).
The fact is a surgeon is the god in an operation room because if the patient dies it is its fault, I've seen extremly violent arguments (some of them almost became physical) between anesthesists and surgeons or two surgeons.
