I have a 1972 Ovation Balladeer, A 1999 Tacoma DM-10, and a couple other oldish ovations.
Electrics are 76 Gretsch Solid Body,(picture related) I call it the Gretsky. Plays beautifully, solid rock maple neck and body. I also have a Original Jay Turston, (cheap but nice) A jackson, and an Ibanez.

They made these just to compete with Fender and Gibson Solid bodies, and seems like they didn't cate if it looked super cool. It sounds tits. Rock Maple body will sustain a note for a loooong time.

Not my arms, neck and back ....but..... I'm an oldfag. I've been playing for like 42 years. Sang in bands for over 20. Didn't play onstage a whole hell of a lot, mostly sang. You reach a point where you don't "Practice" anymore. I play out now sometimes, but mostly just for me. I play rhythm when I play with other guys.
