I lost my virginity at 14. When I was in senior year I fucked around with sophomores and college girls alike. What about a 3 year max age difference from 18 makes sex so immoral?

I'm only in 1st year Uni, I was working my ass off at 17 trying to secure tuition fees. I have some coworkers of that age, too, they're doing the exact same thing. There's not much of an intelligence gap, if at all.

Prior to the social reformation of the early 20th century most states had AOC of 10-14 years of age. Social reformation did two big things that changed this, and part of it carries from the Victorian concept of childhood "Innocence". 1) Mandated education. All children between the ages of 8 and 14 were required to attend public school, or optionally private or parochial school. 2) The AOC was raised to 16-18 years of age to prevent people from using the "except as needed for family farm or business operation" as an excuse to employ children in brothels.
This happened long enough ago that people don't remember it being any other way. However, I would say that the pro benefits have dramatically outweighed cons.

The collapse of birth rates alone should be incredibly alarming to all of us.

A friend from the States got branded as a pedo in his area because he was 19 dating a 17 y/o, with the age of concent being 18 in his state. Pretty awful the cancerous reach that most people go to when its only a year under the AOC and junp to the pedo excuse.
