wtf I LOVE slovakia now!

Well they only have about 46 km of coastline to patrol

>not getting into unnecessary wars with random countries across the world
Typical third world mentality.

Actually, Slovenia sent one of the ships to join the Mare Nostrum mission with Italy and bring Africans from the coast of Libya into Europe.

>They are in NATO
>Have a boat and a Russian patrol ship as a """navy"""
>Have 9 PC-9 as an """"Air Force""""
Why is this allowed again?

Nato is a welfare organisation. Just like everything else in Europe.

Can this plane also carry weapons?

Yes
We have a lot of american at6 as close air support planes

Ireland use that as its main aircraft as well

Poorly. They should have bought super tucanos instead.

Seriously, what's the point of having a military when you fly around in those things.

Stop bullying

What calibre is the machine gun in the wings?
Well, they are great planes, but having so few of them its the problem

First one arrived this weekend, 48 more to come.

Why does it have a spear sticking out of it.

Close combat

>USAF markings
Why?

Unless you're going to war against the united states, russia, israel or china this is probably fine. It's super effective against terrorists, drug dealers and most domestic threats. It's also much more efficient than a full turbojet fighter plane for most tasks.

The american air force and afeganisthan are buying super tucanos to drop bombs on terrorist cells and kebab removing in general.

Here in Brazil they're often used to destroy illegal landing strips and intercept planes used by narcos.

It's used to refuel the aircraft during flight.

Our first two arrived last year.

I don't like how small they are. Everyone knows bigger airplanes are better.

...

That's the main armament of the F-35, the pike for dogfight.

actually it is not. No idea then

But then again, F-16's are the same size. And those are pretty big.

Sensors array

If the pilot flies over the Atlantic and gets hungry, then he can take a dive flight and harpoon some fish.

Yes, but, are we even aware of the power of ideology?

Do we realize that our material conditions have driven us to shitposting on Sup Forums and so on and so on *sniffs nose*?

What about the F22'S though ? What a fucking waste of time and money.

Most navies are fine with a few corvettes and a handful of frigates. If the cunt has a yuge and long coastline then more frigates are needed.

You only start amassing destroyers and cruisers if you have a shitty neighbor.

However there is no excuse for turboprop memes in 2017, that's just pure neglect in national security.

We have destroyers (classes as frigates). But our only shitty neighbor is Venezuela.

But I think our government just wants to be able to scratch America's back, just in case we ever need them.

I don't get the difference between corvette and a normal ocean patrol vessel

>You only start amassing destroyers and cruisers if you have a shitty neighbor.

time for philippines to do so then

OPVs and corvettes are the same thang.

Most navies don't have any distinction between a destroyer and a frigate.

The current regime was bought off by Beijing.

Abe should have ignored the retard instead of welcoming him.

Its just that our navy has a retarded tradition of calling everything a patrol vessel
We are getting some new dutch designed frigates and here they will be classified as "Long range Patrol vessels"

So are there really any significant Navies outside of the usual suspects? The US, Russia, China, France, Italy, UK and Japan being the usual suspects. I really can’t think of anyone else

Well, these are our patrol vessels.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holland-class_offshore_patrol_vessel

Ours is large enough but lacks subs and destroyers
Our last one will be sunk this November 6th

yes we sprayed at some indios with these back in the 90s
es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anexo:Operaciones_de_la_Fuerza_Aérea_en_contra_del_EZLN

is it that big?

Also we have the new toy :)

Montenegro has a respectable navy for a country of 623,000 with less than 300km of coastline.

Last I looked at the armed forces it was mostly indios. Anyway Zapatistas are still there.
