Who was your favorite athlete as a child?

...

he was the only modern black QB who was ever worth a damn, good choice.

As a kid I didn't know much about sports, but thought the Eagles logo looked cool. So my parents bought me a McNabb jersey. I guess him.

where's warren moon

...

Jason Campbell should go in mediocre

mcnair does not belong in his own tier there buddy
bump him down with russ, cam and donovan, and put warren moon in god tier, who you somehow forgot

Frank "the tank" "the ageless one" "the inconvenient TRUTH" Gore

He got really made a splash when I was in like 7th grade and was awesome all through my high school years. I modeled my football play on him. I also saw him break the franchise career rush record in person as an adult. Awesome. I hope he gets 1k seasons til he's 40 and bumps emmits record. Probably won't happen but it'd be epic.

Mike Brown and Brian Urlacher. Damn shame injuries killed Brown's career.

Forgot pic

McNair led Moon's former team to an Owl, your claim is invalid.

OVERRATED

donovan is better than mcnair, memes aside
they played about the same amount of games, but donovan had more yards, touchdowns, less INTs, and more playoff wins, including a SB appearance.
Cam also went to a bowl, but his career stats don't match up. He does have an MVP
Russell has great stats but hasn't played enough years, but he has a SB
Warren Moon has like 20k more yards than Donnie and McNair

Rating Kaep over Vick and McNabb is laughable.

McNabb had a way better team around him most of the time. Name three Titans from before 2006 besides McNair or Eddie George.

Frank Wycheck
Derrick Mason
Keith Bullock

Jevon Kearse
Drew Bennett
Jake Mathews (Clays uncle)

Underage tier: you

Oh yea, Kevin Dyson
Samari Rolle (forgot his name)
Craig Heintrich

Bruce Matthews you mean

This.

Oh yea, my b

In a different time with very different players and very different opponents. Your claim is just as meaningless. Moon was dealing with prime Elway, prime Marino, Montana and Marcus Allen on the Chiefs, a juggernaut Bills team, all in the same division, even Hostetler and the Raiders were pretty good for a few years. McNabb was dealing with Mark Brunell, Neil O Donnell, and Drew Bledsoe as his biggest competition in an era where those great QBs were retired and there was a massive power vacuum. Utterly irrelevant comparison.

Eddie George was my favorite player by a long shot for some reason.

>muh power vaccuum
>Brady and Manning both in the league at the time
>one of whom played McNair twice a year

>childhood heroes

Half of those could only apply if you’re 12

You already posted him man.

RIP

He's rating black QBs you dip

Why are blacks so shit at QB compared to whites?

Weapon X

Barry Sanders was the only reason I could stand watching the Lions as a kid.

they're not, blacks just dominate so many positions in the NFL that it's more noticeable when they don't. Being a quarterback is about knowing your shit, not just physicality, so any person is able to play as long as they meet that criteria and are preferably over 6ft tall so they can see over the o-line. If you take 10 good QBs, odds are one of them will be black. Black people in the US are 10% of the population. It all makes sense.

not him but I never thought of it this way, actually.

You wanna win put Boobie in!

TELL EM THE BONE SENT YA

I didn't really follow any of my now favourite athletes when they were children, so I guess I don't have any

For me, it’s Brian Dawkins, safety number 20 for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Mandible claw is really grim when you think about it.

>absolute state of that mascot

What the fuck were they thinking? Also, do Arse supporters still rate Lehmann?
