God I remember in 2004-05 when Sup Forums was nothing but Cockmongler, Happy Negro and Azumanga hentai. This was probably one of the first animes I ever downloaded over P2P networking.
I rewatched it again in like 2010 and the comic timing is abysmal, every joke is drawn out longer than it should be. It's really not as funny as I remember it, but there are still some classic bits.
Fun fact for the kids: this show gave us the phrase "waifu"
