wish i was into it as a kid. wrestling, jiu jitsu, boxing and kickboxing are something most people should learn for their own well being

I wrestled. It is a disgusting sport. But it taught me discipline, perseverance, and determination. Also formed some of my closest friendships there. And it's the reason I got into fitness and I am not a complete fatass now.

i was on wrestling team for 2 weeks, and quit because the coach was handsy with the team and this one kid had bacne scars that grossed me out.

"Difficult" is the best word I can think of to describe wrestling. One of the best sports that someone can get involved in from an early age. Nothing builds functional strength, character and a sense of personal responsibility the way that wrestling does.

Found the kid who washed out after one season of tee-ball.

Eh it's okay. I'm an assistant coach for a wrestling team here but I'm not really a fan

Super fucking hard if you take it seriously. The weight cutting was just too much effort for too little reward IMO.
Qualified for state a few times but never had enough skill or drive to compete with the dudes that have been doing it since childhood.

Fucking a team manager lost me my virginity in 8th grade though and I dated another one in HS, so, that was cool

I played baseball for 4 years, soccer for 2, and football for 1. I was good at them but had zero interest and just did it because my dad wanted me to.

It's funny because they instantly become so much hotter by being the only women present at the events.

My whrastlin team was 70% female.
And all the guys were like 30 lbs heavier so I just rolled around with cute chicks until the coach broke my clavicle by being a fatass
It's fun being the same weight class, same general size, but they've got that extra bit of fire in their eyes. Gotta beat one of the boyz.
