imma be real with you. its not happening. benzo detox requires medical intervention. one of the very few drugs with a fatal withdrawal. u dun goofed

I've been taking them for over half a year btw

I've been taking Xanax, between 12 and 24mgs every day, sometimes more

I stopped that shit cold turkey
It was absolute hell not gonna lie, but it's possible
I was just scared of doing a seizure 'cause my heart was doing backflips but it never happened
Anyway I was in complete psychosis, I was so bad it was crazy
It lasted 1 month for me

I have anti psychotics do they help?

Yeah it will definitely help, I was taking those too the first 2 weeks then I stopped
You'll see OP, after 2 weeks you'll already feel a bit better if you decide to stop cold turkey
It's an hard way, but short way

The first 5 days will be the hardest but you can do it, you'll have crazy visuals and thoughts every time you'll close your eyes

What about seizures and shit?

You'll be really down bad tho, so take a month for you and just for you
I've quit my job

I mean it can happens, but I don't think it will for you, you've not been taking that much, and not for that long.

When I was going throu it, I've seen my doc to get some anti-psychotics (stop em after two weeks btw, don't replace your addiction by an other one) and I asked him about the risks of doing a seizure 'cause my bpm was like 140 or something
He told me it's ok if my heart is racing, it doesn't mean I'll do a seizure
He also told me the anti-psychotics are going to help me relax a little bit
And it did

(Btw, sorry for shitty english user)

U do it yourself then it’s going to suck really really bad,
Just man up and go to a dr. Tell em you a junky and get help.

Why u taking klonopin in the first place op?

Thanks

I'm getting it from a doctor
Generalized Anxiety Disorder, panic disorder and social anxiety

Currently on 0.5mg daily. Had a panic attack where I thought I was having a heart attack and boom get prescribed a benzo. Should I ween myself off before it's too late? Also on antidepressants and whatnot.

You have posted this before but still, taper it out or switch to diazepam with a lowering of the dose every week. You will be fine user. It might take a couple of weeks or so when u cut it

same thing with me.
I would stay on them.
I don't actually wanna quit them I just wanna quit them secretly and still get them and either take them sometimes so they work better again and I don't need a ridicilious high dose when I have to do some stuff that involves people or sell them kek

I think that was another user since this is my first time asking about this

Sure
You'll see it will be fine, the doses you've been taking are nothing crazy

Good luck bro, you'll have a second life after that

switch to alcohol

nah tastes like shit

And what’s going to happen when u stop it?

I've read that otc meds which regulate gaba could help. Do you know anything about this or is this just bs to sell their crappy Dietary supplements?

Physical symptoms of clonazepam withdrawal may include:

Headache
Stomach pain
Nausea and vomiting
Tremors
Short-term memory loss
Insomnia
Irregular heart rate or heart palpitations
Sweating
Increased blood pressure
Impaired respiration
Dizziness
Blurred vision
Fatigue
Muscle spasms and cramps
Impaired coordination and motor functions
Diarrhea
Feeling lightheaded
Seizures
Benzodiazepine withdrawal is also known for the debilitating psychological side effects that may occur after a drug such as clonazepam is stopped. Perhaps one of the most serious emotional side effects of Klonopin usage is the increased risk for suicidal thoughts and actions, as the FDA even made a point to add warning signs about the potential risks for increased suicidal ideation to Klonopin labels in 2009. Psychological symptoms of withdrawal from clonazepam may also include:

Hallucinations
Nightmares
Mental confusion
Short-term memory lapses
Difficulties concentrating
Irritability
Drastic mood swings
Trouble feeling pleasure
Anxiety
Panic
Depression
Drug cravings
Lack of motivation
Feeling “out of it” and disconnected from reality
Anger and hostility
these are things that can happen

I have no idea bro, I was taking some of them and still don't know if it had any effects lol, maybe it helps a little bit
The anti-psychotics definitely helped a bit tho

Okay thanks again!

Sure good luck dude have a nice day

Shut the fuck up for real.

OP if you want to do it yourself you have to titrate your doses like crazy for 6 months. Make a schedule for your daily dose and lower it a quarter mg every two weeks until you you're on a half a day then do .05 every two weeks until you're off. It's the only way to make it work. Do not deviate from your schedule under any circumstances. If you can't do it yourself just go to an outpatient rehab.

You can get on like 600 of gabapentin every 6 hours. It helps.

you shut the fuck up I know a lot of people who stopped that shit cold turkey like me I know it's not recommended but you still can do it if you don't want that fucking slow process
It's just harder, now OP can chose what he wants

okay sounds easy enough

I only have Lyrica but it's pretty much the same right?
